Which game will be better?

My friends and I have been debating whether Half Life 2 or Halo 2 will be better. I personally think HL2 because of how amazing the graphics look and how well the physics are in the game. I would really like to hear some of your insight on this subject. I also can't wait for CS2 to come out after that.

Have you seen vids of Halo 2 gameplay yet? IMO I think that Haol 2 will be the better game and the better seller.

I have my vote on Half-life 2, not just the graphics ........ the game play and AI and of course.........CS2!!!

I have almost no interest in Half Life, not sure why, I just haven't. But, I love Halo on plan on killing my Xbox when Halo 2 is out. I'll be playing for a few days nonstop LOL.

Let's hope CS2 has better anti-punk-cheater routines.. :)

no doubt.... thats why i stopped playing CS, and also why i loved CS so much originally. i was definately an AWP whore :)

as far as HL2 vs Halo 2...... id say Halo 2 hands down, without a doubt w/great online multiplayer support :)

helo 2 all the wya it looks soo good! i have never been a fan of half life. which is really odd. But i tell you now it will be a very competative online game because everyone you talk seems to think they are the best.

Halo 2.i played half life quite a bit but never grabbed me liek Halo did,so i think Halo 2 will be the better seller and even win game of the year

I just read on Gamespy that you can purchase a HL2 package that includes Counter-Strike:Source and Half life 1:Source (which is just the same games using the new source engine). I can't wait, I play the CSS beta and it looks really good.

From a technical point it will HAVE to be Half life 2. The physics engine is AMAZING. Have you seen the technical demonstrations?

Halo 2 simply cannot beat that sort of programming. Halo has always been a console game first, and a PC game second. And lets face it, no console can face down a top of the range PC with a kick ass video card. Although of course a PC user pays much more $$$

I guess it is possible that halo 2 will have more enjoyable gameplay, but half life 2 will be leagues ahead in terms of the game engine.... which of course can mean more diverse levels, better graphics, better physics, blah blah blah.

If both of the originals are anything to go by, Halo 2 will be more of an arcade blaster, whereas HL2 will probably seek to be more realistic and involving with respect to plot and characters. So maybe it just depends what type of game you are after

Here here, I second that opinion. Seems to me halo2 is just a gussied up version of halo. never played HL, but i presume its just better graphics and same ol shoot the guy in the head to win game.

Right on!!!! GT4 is God in the gaming world. Halo and HL are the normal shoot bang bang games nothing new. Same thing, GT4 is ground breaking and the most realistic game you can get.

HL2 has to be the winner. I personally dont even like HALO. It becomes repetitive and boring. Being sci-fi with those inexistent weapons, makes me not be that interested. I rather hear the sound imitation of a real gun than a fake one. There were so little choices of weapons too. HL2 will be best game of year for sure.
