hmm... im not so familiar with it, but it definately looks to have surfaced sometime in the late 70's.... some of the lines look similar to a 'bricklin' but mostly not :)

in koblenz, do you happen to live near a TRW plant ?(near there is the only place ive ever seen a 959 on teh road)

Looks to me like a Eureka, not a common car. I think it was built off a VW Beetle chassis. They were sold as kits made of fibreglass I believe

no accounting for taste i suppose, but a rare car is a rare car so i'm sure it was neat to come across.
i can see elements of the Lancia Stratos in the back, and the front lights made me think GT40 right away.
