Indeed it amazing, but Type E aren't that rare on the road! It is simply marvellous! And marvellous to see people not only using a Murci as a daily drive, but also a classic car!!!

Great pictures man....love the Murci, that girl behind it in the 2nd pic is giving you an evil look. :D
You are spending alot of time in Geneva lately, will have to move there soon.
How much time did you spend there to get these pictures, and do you just walk around the city looking for the cars?

Sorry Mike, not even an highres.. it was taken time ago when I was not really an high-res freak, and anyway quality sucks... pretty strange: I never saw that car again in the past months :(

Uhm.. the tipical Geneva mission lasts 2 hours. I just drive there, park the car and go around the usual places looking for something to shoot ;)
And usually I do that around noon, so in the 2 hours there is also a little break to eat something :)
Anyway it's always a pleasure, not only for the cars, but also because, despite the heavy traffic, Geneva is a nice place to have a walk and just look at the lake :)

nice pictures, what are you're thoughts about the evo 8?

TT
09-28-2004, 10:12 AM
Well, not sure what you would like to know, but the fact it is VERY rare compared to the Impreza WRX makes it a very desirable car IMO! Not sure if around here you can have any of the various FQ models, and no idea about prices or if they are officially imported or just grey ones, but for sure there must be something that makes it so rare! I'd say 50 WRX and 1 EVO

I love the first shot of the Murci, it's yellowness just stands out, gotta go change my pants now... And Geneva what a gorgeous city. We stayed at the swissotel last year in July. The techno convention, and the big fireworks display was going on. Alot of very nice cars there. And good pics TT!

TT nice pics! Do you do any professional work? or is it a hobby? you have a good atitute, and good skill in taking photos, but the real hard part I found when tryin to take pics of cars is you have to find them first, and then if there on the move you got to keep up to them. Sometimes there gone in a instant before you can even turn your camra on!! how do you get around that problem?

Im just trying to say good work man!

HAHA thanks, and indeed it is just an hobby. Of course I wouldn't mind to have such a job :D but not sure I really qualify...
You can just imagine anyway how many nice pics I missed just because I was 1 second too late or just 5 minutes too early in the right place...
It's just about luck usually :D

Thanks for the pics TT of course .....and naturally it wasnt a bad day for you, of course not....apart from the usual beauty of the 911, the merc SL, the 360 Modena.......the E-Type was greatest surprise of this topic for me, it just looks astonishing.....and one of the most beautiful cars ever for me certainly....the other two good surprised were just the brabus merc S class....it looks great in black....and the Maserati Ghibli as well....once the maseratis name is not in the best moment, i think that the Ghibli in question must be on sale in a good price and it will be a very interesting chance to buy it as far as i know .....BTW TT do you have any clue how much the maserati costs?

Finally....of course that you werent capable of following the 360 modena with your 320...if so...you must have been a professional driver on racetrack rather than the JW moderator

TT
10-01-2004, 05:29 AM
No clue, it was sold already or just arrived and still no price tag on it.
