i just picked up the momo force steering wheel, installed it... and ripped out my older racing game NFS 5 Porsche Unleashed. Oh My God, it was fun like i never played the game before to such a new level! id been playing for almost 1.5 hours when suddenly, the steering wheel went dead mid game out of nowhere, and the computer kept the last issued commands.

it seems that the power doesnt work one way or another, i cant easily test if its the powersupply, or internals are fried... either way, the lights arent lighting up... and even though windows recognizes the device, no power means no use.

has anybody else had such issues? i sent a message to the Logitech webmaster essentially asking if i should give it back to them to get my $$ back, or exchange it, as it was a freak accident/defective unit.

im kinda pissed since i was having so much fun

You should be able to return it ... did you buy it online?

I had the same problem with my Logitech GT-Force steering wheel actually. It was working fine and then it just went completely dead. It stayed that way for quite a long time, but about 5 days after it happened initially I decided to give it another try and it worked just fine...not sure what to suggest other than returning it or exchanging it.

I really don't see the problem here.

You seem to think that the all the wheels will die if used for 1.5hrs at a time.

They won't... it mus thave been a defect in your wheel, i doubt that they all expire after such a short time

Exchange it, and if it breaks again, get a refund, and buy a used MOMO fore wheel of eBay.. the red one, limited edition, aluminium pedals etc £160 new 8)
