...yep, definitely one of the "better" vids from AMS TV - with some burnouts, onboard, some crazy cam positions at the beginning - unfortunately i was a bit late with starting the VCR rec. so i missed 3-5 seconds from the start, but i´m sure AlienDB7´ll come up with the english FULL version in some weeks time... :wink:
but it´s definitely worth the dl.... :P :P :P

it´s ~150 megs or so, don´t have a compression/editing progr ... or whatever, besides i don´t know how to use such progs, well...u´ll see... :wink:

In what format is it now, mpg (videocd), or raw Avi?

You always can make it Windows Movie Maker format, WMV... very compact, but the audio quality is now so good....

The e60 m5 is too brutal to mis... :(

I think the video can be resized from 150MB back to 60MB if you use a 768kbit wmv....

I can host unlimited filesize on my webserver, but that's my at home adsl with 42kB/sec upstream..... And the other option is a homepage of 25 or 50MB's with max of 5GB traffic...

The only option is my 25MB homepage, but that's too small. If i'd recompressed the file it's still 60MB i think...

ka ob ich alles gesehn hab bin jetzt grad bissl am überlegen da waren zumindest keine burnout etc. hab den m5 nur so bissl rumcruisen gesehn und ams is ja sonst ja auch immer sehr nüchtern in ihrer berichterstattung.

yeah, i'm aware of the requirements but still. I think i've done fairly well in cementing my loyalty to the Roundel, so seeing that this was coming up and then to see it get put of reach like this just makes me want to bash my head against the wall.
but keep your eyes peeled for my review of the M5 when my dealership starts to PDI them, like i said in another post, i'll try and jump on board with one of the other techs when they roll in. So far we have 2 already ordered...and yes the fight to do the PDIs have already begun :mrgreen:

AMS has been showing quite a few good reviews these days. From the Supercar comparison to Exige and GT2, now the M5! Hopefully they'll keep such good reviews coming! Thanks st-anger for capping ;)

Yea, I'll keep my eyes on the english version and post it for the non UL/DL members. Can't promise what will be shown here, but for such a good review, there's no reason anyone with a brain would edit it out ;)

st-anger, do you mean Sport Auto, as in Sport Auto the magazine? I have read some copies of that at the ring, as they sell it in the tankstelle over there. I can imagine how good a TV version of that must be.

well, ZfrkS62 it´s not up to me to decide who´ll be in or not, believe me for me it would be absolutely no problem, but on the other hand i fully support ANY desicion of the JW crew - it´s definitely kinda hard to decide who´ll be in or not...

yep draak, i mean the Sport Auto, there´s been a TV show too but unfortunately the channel cancled it because of the costs - too bad because ask just ANYONE what been the best program on "DSF" - all´ll agree that it´s been "SA TV"...
but well, i have quite some ( i think all ) episodes at home on VHS so when i´ll have some time they´ll show up here on JW .... for sure.... 8)

:multi: Getting excited now guys! I already posted in the Leaked Numbers thread that the 2005 models are starting to roll in, just in case you didn't catch it there, here it is.
Today I PDI'd an 05 530i and a 325i. did a 330 a few weeks ago.
If i correctly remember my shop foreman's explanation, the M5's will begin to ship near the end of the year. I will check on this though.
Keep your eyes peeled in the car chat section for my post when we get them in. It will be obvious as to what it is. :multi:
