Nice pics... but a bit "blue" IMO... do you have any problems with your digicam??? Your friends pics seems more "normal" but yours seems to have a blue filter or something. BTW, the SLR is simply stunning from every single angle.

The more detailed explanation for the blue pictures: I accidentally adjusted the colour balance for in house shots under fluorescent lighting. And I didn't noticed it on the little LCD screen of my camera.
