Keep it organized!

It makes a project take 5 time longer if you never know where anything is like in my garage. A nice set though, put it to good use.

nice. How much did you pay?
I'm going to order my own set in the next few weeks from Snap-On, they give 60% discount to automotive students at certain schools so I'm getting a $3000 set for about $1300. And once I'm done here (3 different Associates degrees in Automotive and 10 certificates) I'm going to either ISU for my Bachelors or to Wyotech for High Performance Engine/Chassis, can't decide yet. Also I'm taking a few ASE tests in November.
Is your course going to be General or specific?

paid $722 for it through lincoln tech
that sounds like a great deal on the snap-on set.

they consider my program 6 semesters in 15 months, it's 13 one-at-a-time classes. just finished intro and got 99%, now im in basic electric, there's brakes, engine repair, engine performance, steering and suspension, a/c, and others so im going to say its pretty specific

hopefully by the time my program is over i'll have 8 ase certificates and maybe the hard L1 test

Sweet!! I wish I could afford a good tool set.

All I've got is a "MasterCraft" set from Canadian Tire. Pretty crappy quality.

fuck UTI there's a guy in my Electrical class that went there and said it wasn't that great of a school. He said the program my school has is way better, let's just say that there was a guy that only went to my school and is now a regional rep for Porsche. All of my teachers have Masters Degrees and atleast 15 years experience in the field, My Applied Mechanics, Manual Trans, and Electrical teacher started as a rep for GM in the 60's mainly for Buick and Opel then he came to my school and also has done work for ZF transmissions and Audi on the side. Another teacher has a PHD and has worked for Midas as a national rep and tester, he also raced bikes professionally for years until he had kids, hten he came to teach at my school, and 4 years ago he became one of the heads on the ASE board. My third teacher is younger and is 2 months from his Masters and also is on the Rules Board for SCCA, he builds Methanol Race Engines and used to race in SCCA. there are other teachers but those are the ones I have this Semester.
