interesting test of a pre-production model of a ME 4-12 at laguna seca race track with an AMG tech ( Volker Müller ), engine is V12 from the SL65 with now quad turbocharging, dry-sump lubrication because of the 1.5g´s that can be achieved...
race car like monocoque with carbon/aluminium honey-comp structure, subframe made of high-tensile steel - with the exterior: form follows function, so just the other way round like on the EB16.4
top speed so far is limited to 320kmh, as well as torque to 750Nm - 7speed DSG tranny from "Ricardo" is more or less same as in the EB16.4, but chief engineer Sykes tells that literally NO part is the same as in the Bugatti...
the tranny itself works nearly perfect with almost zero time delay when upshifting and only a little daly when downshifting...
sterring is a bit too sensitive...
handling is very good and good-natured, even without ESP...
