hey my friend is a stoner ect. and i had an argument with him, he reckoned he would be able to if he stoped smoking now pass a drug test in 3 weeks, and i said it was still detectable 3-6months later.

can someone please set the record strait on this, i think drugs like speed, and XTC stay in you're system for a few days - at the most.

I think he can pass some tests. But if he went in for a comprehensive test, you are right, 6mths is the time it takes for weed to get out of the system. It is even in your hair!!

I'm no drug expert but I know for sure that some drugs stay in your system for like 6 months. That's propably why some people have flashbacks long after they took the drugs.

Well I know for a fact that THC stays in your system for a long time. I was high for a very long time once. I woke up the next day still quite high. And if I was high for like two days you can imagine how long it takes for it to leave your system completly.

Through pain we discover alot about oneselfs limits and only when reaching them can we say we lived a full existence. True balance can be obtained when the extremes are known. yes i am actualy considering confrounting him about it, because he is a big pot smoker, and i think that it's not making him a better person.

i'm just curious...if you take like adderall(amphetamines)..which i have been perscribed before, how long does that stay in your system..b/c if you go to inteview for a job wont that show up on a drug test?

You should be ok on prescription drugs

If you fail a test get the employers lab to contact your doctor who prescribed the adderall

- they are checking for substance ABUSE , remember!

morphine is an opiate (same family as heroin) and cocaine family - based products can also be prescribed.

Take ephedrine - legal to buy in USA, but can be abused quite legally too.

Pot does stay in your system for a long time and if your mate thinks that he is not affected adversly then tell him to give it up for a couple of months.
Then ask him how much better his life is.

I do speak from experience, due to stress, loneliness,weakness, but I don't think that it is a " gateway" drug.
