It will be powered by a 4.2 litre V8 with compressor connected to a manual six speed gearbox and will produce about 400 hp. It's RWD and Alfa Romeo claims it accelerates in about 4.5 seconds (0-100 km/h) and has a top speed in excess of 300 km/h.

You can never have enough pics of cars like this. :D Please post them if they're different.

My guess is I'll be saving for a very very long time, but there's no harm in trying

Beautiful, simply beautiful...do you prefere this one or the Brera made by Giorgetto Giugiaro?

That's a tough one. I saw the Brera in the flesh and loved it. But I think I like this one better. There isn't a line in this design I don't like and it's perfectly proportioned. It has a very powerful and at the same time sexy stance. On top of that there are all kinds of hints at famous Alfa models from the past, like the TZ1. The Brera hasn't got all of the things I mentioned. A lot, but not all. I still love it, but I think I love this even more.

The only thing I don't like is that the engine is not naturally aspirated.
The car is beautiful to look at, and knowing Alfa's tradition, it'll be for sure beautiful to drive.
Fortunately there isn't the F1 style gearchange. Yes, it's faster, misshift is impossible, but the gear lever is much more entertaining.

i love the front, with the 2 big headlamps, and the rear, wirh 2 circular lamps and the 4 exhaust... I love it, and yes, is more beautiful than the Brera

I am in love... :D

You're not the only one :P .

I hope Alfa will produce some of the concepts they were showing us, like this and the Brera.
That will be great. both are so sexy but I love the Brera more.

 :P

Good work, man! Nice detail pic of the rear. The other ones are much better than the small ones I posted. Especially the picture of the profile (don't know if that's correct english) of the car is amazing.

Expect my PM in a minute.

It looks OK IMO. The headlights some what remind me of that street legal Panoz, I forgot the name.

The headlights refer to the tipo 33 stradale of the late sixties. It's one of the cars that made me choose this nickname.

It also resembles the TZ1

I've seen that car before, I believe it was in EVO. It isn't bad, but very very bland. Those wheels are awful by the way.

I don't think we have to worry about Alfa Romeo designers ripping off Panoz designs though. Those sort of headlight units have been used lots of times throughout history, especially in all kinds of Le Mans cars.

The cars body almost looks like a TVR...well some parts makes it ressemble a TVR...

Magnificent design!!!! Incredible styling.

I like it the most from the side because I think the car looks perfect from that angle, the euhm what's the word, equasions? (verhoudingen in dutch) are just right.

looks great from the front and side, but the back looks too much like a TVR IMO... kinda ruins the whole thing for me... TVRs are great, but I'm not a big fan of the looks on that small one, which i am constantly reminded of.

Quite a looker, although I think it looks a bit like an Elise turned Aston Martin. I wish Alfa Romeo had stuck with their current theme of sonorous NA engines however.

Oh, how I do love the looks of the car. Very beautiful from the front. The rear seems abbreviated, a touch, but it only seems to lend a bit more weight on the rear of the car to give it that nice wedge shape. It doesn't seem as much of an afterthought as with that Kamm tail on the new TVR, and some of ther other new designs out there. Not a brutal chop, rather a tasteful one :)
