Ford Capri 2.8i

Hi....ive discovered the first pics of the future seat leon that is going to be launched in the following june...although i dont have any evidence about its size, technical aspects of it.....it seems that the car is going to have the height of the new golf, the new megane....about 1,45m, and the lenght of it seems a bit more than the new golf....in my opinion the car will look very attractive....it remains me quite a lot the new 5 door alfa 147(for instance the both cars are designed by the same person, Walter Da Silva)
there you the website of it
http://community.webshots.com/
After entering in the website....you have to write down yorius5963 in the member searching bar, and the pics of the seat leon are on the second page of the yorius5963 section...ill be waiting about the opinion of the car...greetings

you are right about the looks of a 147, definitely happening especially from the rear and the side, plus those door handles.
I don;t think it looks as good as the recent one, the grill looks like a cheap Hyundai

Damn, it looks more like a flattened Altea. The current Leon is a cool car, and compared to that this looks like a Mazda 3 doing an impression of a rodent! :(

yeah....it will have exactly the same engines as the new golf, audi A3....probably such as the 2.0 FSI, the 2.0 TDI, the 2.0 TFSA..and perhaps some new engine that they will launch, once they can launched some new engine within 9 month, such as a new 1.8FSI to replace the current 1.8 20V, perhaps a new 16V TDI(a smaller engine than for example 1.8) to replace the current 1.9 8v TDI, although IMO i prefer if they continue with the 1.9 TDI
By the way.,.....thanks a million for putting leon the high-res pics, for instance once im a newbie when putting the pictures in any forum(for instance i put my first pics ever yesterday and with some problem as far as you know dani).....do you mind explaining me basically a bit how to get some hi-res pics in any forum?.....greetings

LOL...I was going to say exactly the same thing as a bunch of you guys...it looks like a smushed Altea, and much less attractive than it's smaller sibling too.

I love the current shape of the Leon (especially the Cupra), but this one looks horrible

Does that look better? I love the way the tyres just fill in the arches completely.
Seat Cupra GT concept, a design exercise.

Is not a concept, is a running model to compete in the Spanish GT Champ.
fine, a prototype.

The new Leon...it AWFUL! I hate it! The actual Leon is beautiful, pretty aggressive, definitely a good-looking car. These pictures make me sick!
About the Toledo GT, I had the opportunity to see them in Estoril track when we received the Spanish GT Championship and the car sounds great...but doesn't go around the track that fast...
I had the opportunity to see one incident on corner1 in Estoril and it was great! Imagine the Toledo with only 3 wheels! Are you imagining it? i SAW it! :P

What I don't understand is that Seat is supposed to be the sporting brand of VAG and is intended to make life difficult for Alfa Romeo. With a line-up of new models that all look like the mini MPV Altea, their attempt is pathetic. I think they're laughing their asses off in Milan.
Walter da Silva can do much better than this, as he has proven at Alfa Romeo. :(

I think that the Seat GT looks very well,....no complaints about its shape, the new leon it looks ok although i prefer the current leon, but its not a bad looking,......about the new toledo......the back of it remains me too much the vel satis....its disgusting...for me its easy to get a more beautiful back than this one...definitely if the seat staff goes in the same way as they have gone with the toledo. i definitely agree with puebla that the seat designs will go as backwards as bmw is going

But i have to say the new Toledo looks weird. I wanted to see sleek Seats, not fat ones.

New Leoun IS flattened Altea, it is made on same platform (as is the new Toledo). It has same lenght (plus or minus a few cm, same wheelbase), but it is lower and will have more sporting suspension and choice of engines.
