We are all pretty lucky to see both of these astoundingly talented drivers/riders, doing there best to dominate the competition in our generation.
But who do you think is more talented? I always thought it was pretty close, but with Rossi's performences this year on a clearly inferior machine he is making me think again.

Both are exceptional in their own fields ... Leave it at that

Actually I saw a column in Top Gear 07 magazine in which Rossi actually drove around Fiorano in a F1 car and did very well....so one could give Rossi some credit....

You can't compare them, n thats that.

I would say however that Rossi does seem to be naturally more talented and reacts well to pressure, whilst schumacher does seem to start to make mistakes under pressure. Plus as someone said, Rossi drove a ferrari and was only 2 seconds or so off schmachers pace.... I'd like to see schumacher get to within 2 seconds of Rossi's pace on a bike.

Neither one os better or worse than the other though, at least its impossible to say

Its a very difficult comparison, for me its also like comparing apples with pears....its true that a few times Schumacher has made mistakes under pressure...that Michael Schumachers situation on ferrari at the beginning was similar to Rossi now on Yamaha. On the other hand, although 2 seconds is slower is a very good time on a Formula 1 car, the technique of driving a powerful motorbike on a race track is more similar than we expect when driving a formula 1 car on the rack..finally, its considered that only a 0.5 seconds of difference on a lap between two drivers is more than enough to consider the faster one as a very good driver, and the other one as a bad driver

riding a moto gp bike isnt even close to as easy as driving an f1 car.In no way am i saying rossi's time was not amasing but a car is more point and shoot.A bike is more like point shoot hang knee out tilt bike why down get ur body as close to the ground as possible. My point is it takes alot more training to get the most out of a moto gp bike, but a bike rider can also apply the concept of braking points and and acceleration points on the track.

I would really like to see rossi in the race of champions and also see shumie on a moto gp bike

true but the braking and sideways G's F1 cars pull are much greater. Considering the little amount of track time rossi had, its fairly amazing the time he produced....

Rossi is very very good...at MotoGP!

Schumacher is the King...at Formula One!

Things are balanced this way, leave them like this! Don't try to compare them. They are both superior drivers in the competitions their in...~

Btw, Estoril's MotoGP this weekend! :D

I think they should both receive praise and respect for their own respective talents and skill and not engage in a battle to prove who is better than the other. It all comes back down to how you could fairly gauge the better driver/rider

It's easy to drive a formula 1 car??? Who would tell.... ???? Wonder how sometimes such good pilots crash...

Have you ever drove a Formula 1? It seems so.

lol i didnt mean driving an f1 car was easy.I it more like if u have the courdination needed to race a bike and u have some experience in a race car it would be easer drive an f1 car
