These are a few cars I've seen over the past few days.
The 355 GTS was at a second-hand luxury car place, they mostly have BMW's and Mercs but today when I drove past I noticed the little beauty in the window so I had to stop.
At another second-hand place that specializes in Porsches I saw a GT3, but the damn place is so cramped I could barely take any pics...so I just posted the two that look half decent.
Finally we have a 360 that belongs to the boss of a big finance company in Perth....he also has the 5-series in the last pic and a Rolls-Royce (which wasn't in the carpark) plus probably more that I'm not aware of.....yet.

355 (my car is in the background):

Yeah the dealers were fine with it, he even asked if I was interested in buying the car (the 355)....he looked serious, like its normal that a 22yo with a camera driving a Commodore comes in to buy a Ferrari. :D Maybe if you didn'tturn up at 3am yo would have got a better reception, I try to visit during daylight...lol.
Where is that Audi dealership, is it the one in Osborne Park near Alf Barbagallo?

actually car dealers are taught not to be judgemental. lot of rich guys rock up to dealers in shorts and t-shirt not $1000 armani suits. plus they never know if you're rich or have a rich daddy. selling cars are a lot tougher so they welcome everyone unless you look like a complete bum

PB: i know living cost is low, my parents just went there and laughed at a guy for complainig parking meter was too expensive.

Yeah its very expensive, it was $249,900 with 22,000 km on the clock. It was a 1998 GTS F1.

I went there today and I saw the Gallardo, but they have just sold the RS6 so I missed it. I took some pics and will post them within the next few days.

I have been to Barbagallo a while ago and already posted the pics here:

Are you and beaver competing or something, because you have now twice posted the same (or nearly) pictures as him? :?

enigmatic
08-29-2004, 07:43 AM
hahah noo! lets clarify, shal we?
i see alot of cars. i take alot of photos.
i send photos to beaver regularly for his personal interests.
he posts here much more regularly than myself, and posts some of my photos. the ones in question here, for example.

i've simply contributed with further photos from that particular 'collection' -- photos of which i may have never sent him. 8)

btw dingo, good to see another perthian among us! lovin your work! comforting to know beaver and myself aren't the only guys in this fare city pissing off salespeople with our digital cameras! :)

08-29-2004, 07:51 AM
ok, thanks for clearing that up. :D
I didn't know we were called Perthians, but I like it....lol. :D
I don't think I've pissed off any salepeople yet, but that might change by the 10th time I visit their showroom.
BTW, is that your WRX in the sig?

enigmatic

enigmatic

thanks; yeah she goes ok.
to be honest, i've never really taken the time to get any decent photos!
i'll have to find a nice scenic setting and get some to share!

beaver's been in it alot, you could ask him for any '3rd-party' impressions.

dingo
08-29-2004, 08:37 AM
I might do that, or how about you drop it off at my place and I'll get a hands-on impression....give it back in a week or so.

That 355 looks wonderful in blue...not a very common color, but I'm surprised we don't see it more, it seems to fit the car so well.
