although the winner of the world rallying championship during this year could be quite clear for members(for me its almost as clear that Sebastien Loeb is going to be world champion as Michael Schumacher is going to be the formula 1 champion), i decided to post this topic in order to see the point of view of the other members about their next world rally champion after the German rally

IMO Sebastien Loeb is going to win the championship so far for many reasons:
Firstly: once it has an advantage of 29 point in front of Markko Martin(it means quite almost an advantage of 3 rallye wins)

Secondly: there are 2 tarmac rallyes left, Catalonia, and Corsica, and for me during this year Loeb is the best rallying driver so far(for instance during this decade Panizzi and Loeb have been the best drivers on tarmac indeed), and this year i see the lack of motivation of Panizzi and the failure of the Mitsubishi

Thirdly: the main rivals of Loeb, Gronholm, Solberg, and Martin, arent getting some regular rally finishes due to their spins, the mechanical failures......whereas Loeb rarely has an accident, and he is very intelligent (perhaps the most) when taking risks

Fourthly: The Xsara seems the best set up car in this championship, and a very reliable car as well

Fifthly: once considering that Sainz is not going to reach the same number of points as Sebastien(i see quite uncertain to be honest), i see that Sainz finishes the rallys regularly, as a result, Solberg, Martin, and Gronholm has got more difficulties to reach the same number of points as Sebastien

Lets see whats your point of view about the end of the championship, i hope that your opinion is not as clear as mine“s, otherwise the topic will be useless, and id feel sorry

I also think ( and hope ) that Sebastien Loeb will win the championship this year. He is without doubt one of the best driver of the WRC and missed the title last year but he will get it this year.

Yeah...i think that himself(it was normal if he failed, once last year it was his first complete year in rallying world championship), the team, whatever....lost the rallying championship, once for example they failed in Catalonia and Corsica in some moment when the choice of wheels was primordial, otherwise i think that Loeb would have won at least one of the races, in addition, during the end of last year, citroen wanted to be cautious with its drivers by no taking risks, in order to get Citroen the world manufactures championship(the world championship for makes is very important for citroen, in fact it remains me the period of lancia)....i think that those things made Sebastien lose the world rallying championship

Loeb.
He is the best tarmac driver and tarmac rallies are just beginning. He is also very regular without being boring. He deserves this year's title.

He is really impressive in the way he doenst make stupid errors like the others. And he is bloody quick. Used to be a tarmac specialist but has become very good on all surfaces. Surely deserves the title. Its a shame that last year's event ended up with unecessary drama as Citroen asked him to conserve the car to end and gifted the title to Solberg ....

I said at the bigining of the year Loeb was the man to beat, and he deserves the win he's by far the most consistant driver this year with the most reliable machine, and that all shows in the points table both drivers & constructers.
