Wow... white chocolate carbon fibre interior?!

BMW really reads their aftermarket magazines. :)

I'm really liking the 545i now... especially the touring version. :)

Once i said in other times...the only BMW that i dont dislike since the 7 series launching is the new 5 series, for me it looks ok. In addition, this is the first new 5 series touring that ive get ever seen, and it looks brilliant, they did a very good job when designing the Station Wagon version, and the M trims it suits very well also. Its a similar situation to the Audi A6 for me as well, once i do prefer quite clearly the A6 Avant shape rather than the 4 door A6

Must be expensive :?:

Not so. Its only a slight upgrade. You can get a 525i sedan with the M sport package for 27,000 british sterling.

Making this car more great than before...But what is that circle on the first picture bellow the grill? air intake for supercharge (maybe?)

I was going to ask the same question, but no it´s not for supercharger, that´s for sure.

This is a gorgeous car. Mr. Bangle did a marvelous job on this car, but I am aware of the fact that not everyone agrees on that.

M5 with redline at 5000rpm? Don't think so. Also some other things that gives it away. Like it doesn't have the M5 Symbol on the side like the M3 has.

Its just a 5 series with the M trim option, not an M5. The car in the pics is a diesel...see...535d badge on the rear...hence the 5k rpm redline, and also I guess hence the steptronic g/box.

You can order a 5xx or 3xx with a "Sport' or M-series trim package, usually upgraded interior (including a 'M' steering wheel as you can see in the pics)/ upgraded wheels and sometimes upgraded suspension.

The interior is rather plain and boring looking. Bland comes to mind... very Camry like. :)

Yes - that has always been the major turn off when seated in Audis, BMW,s Benzs and such... they are too clinical.

Then they alwayts try comepensate for the bland looks with uber-technik.. :P

But then again, I can't say that I have ever takne the view of the interior of any car into account once the pedal hits the metal.. ;)

Not a big fans of that rim style on 5series...it looks good on a 3, but kinda weird in a 5...

and 5000rpm redline?...I don't t think any of the BMW has such low redline, including the diesel models.

Loved the rims, looks just as good if not better than the M5.

there is no chance the new m5 will have a manual gearbox for at least 2 production years, if at all. 7 gears - not the easiest to design overnight for a stick shift pattern. I love the sight of this m pack though, it looks fantastic. Bangle is in my good books :P
