believe you wouldn't want to live in Japan if you already live in the U.S.

I was looking at some garages that had RX-7's for sale around my area, and I found some imported ones, twin turbos, new body kits, 70K miles, for only 5000quid  aint that good?

gis
08-18-2004, 07:08 PM
yeah there is a couple flyin around were i live,a red and a black one,i found 2 others for sale in auto trader last week, both twin turbo FD's with 50k miles and it was £7500,we would probably pay that again for insurance, lol

if your looking for jap imports this place is about a 5 minute walk from my house. Not too far from huddersfield either. They dont have an rx7 in at the moment, but put it in your favourites and keep checking back. The do have a stunning skyline with flip orange paint however - it look way better in real life than it does on the pictures tho.

if i could afford insurance on one jap car i would have a supra by now but nope, insurance just fucks u over.i wouldnt mind an RX7 though,an FD,should be sweet.ah well, roll on 21 so i can move from my VTR to a VTS

I would so llike a RX-7 think I'd give a skyline a miss tho, and as for insurance, well it just so sux dont it :( I did have a plan tho, there are these storage building which are quiet big, which are been rented out at 50 quid a week, I was think of saving for a car (rx-7) like that and keeping it in one of them. But then I realised I could'nt drive it, I could just staire at it :(

But I'm surprised at how cheap the RX-7's are, the FC's are under 2grand in some places.

gis
08-18-2004, 07:32 PM
yeah the RX7's FD and FC are quite cheap now.supras the mk4 TT versions anyway are still the £10000 area still.i was lookin at impreza WRX in a couple years but when i got an insurance quote of £5145 for the year i thought otherwise

FD's are usually around 15K around here so buying one is basically out of the question for me because on top of it being a used car and may have some problems insurance is quite high in the states

seems so yeah,im just lookin in the latest autotrader magazine sales right now and........

evo 6 with 24k miles is £16.995
evo 5 with 69k miles is £11.995
and there is even an evo 1 with 69k km's on it for £4995

lol oh beleive me i know,i would probably at this age be paying about £6000 insurance for one of those evo's so im quite a way from one of those turbo cars, only car i could realisticly own at this age from initial D is the EG6 civic

Is it just me or do some of Akina's straights look really wobbly? Like they made the road uneven to prevent people from going fast.

well 2 things really, finding a decent low mileage EG6 civic is hard to do,all the one si seen have between 65-85k miles.id like to get one if i was gettin one between maybe 45-50k miles.and secod, although its a 1.6 the v-tec versions insurance wouldnt take a liking to,so id have to shop around a bit for the right insurance.
