The New Opel/Vauxhall Astra GTC, the 3 doors version of the Astra. I.M.O this looks good for a Opel, not a dull looking car like the builded the last years.

Those 2 upper pics are brand new, this car is released this week. This is the 3 door version of the Astra and will be on sale next year!!!!
The pic at the bottom is an older one, but I added it just to see the similarity between the concept and the real model

Well.. little has changed since the concept, but i really dislike the fact that Vauxhall has not used frameless windows on the front.. the shutline at the top of the door is awful :roll:

Much more striking than the Golf, but time will tell if it looks as good in a few months :wink:

That's the production version? Have to say, it's a sexy car! If they're selling it as the "cobalt" hatch over here, I'll put it on my shopping list :)

For some reason, the back sort of reminds me of the renault megane.

I wish we could import some of these cars to Canada. We are seriously lacking in our choices for sporty looking hatchbacks.

Well I kinda like astra's, got no choice really. yeah i think the back has the renault look, and I think the front kinda has the acura rsx look ya know :o or is it just me..?

Do you remember on Top Gear when they first showed these pics. JC said that he had called Vauxhall and told them that there's no way that the final product would look this way. So they guy from Vauxhall repied it will. JC claimed they would shoot they guys dog if it won't :lol:

Anyway, I do hope it will look like this because no doubt that is a good looking car. I just pray that they've done enough work on the suspension to make is sporty. The previous Astra Coupé wasn't really praised for it's suspension and that's just too bad because for a resonable price tag you had a good looking coupé with a strong engine.
