Pretty cool, I bet it's fast as hell!
The spoiler is fricken huge! Prodrive is bringing a 575 to ALMS next year, I wonder if it'll look anything like that one.

There is has an estimated time of 0-100 in 3.5, this thing could contend with the enzo

This car could well be faster then the Enzo on the track BUT I don't think it's for sell or even road legal. It's a car they're gonna use in competition.

It's beautiful. very agressive. kind of like a mix between the 575 and the F40 front. I hope it'll do well in racing. the Prodrive 550s are already extremely fast and competitive, and this year at LeMans, with the added reliablity they killed everybody in the GTS class. hopefully this will even be better.

the link says it has close to 600 hp but it must be atleast 600. the Prodrive 550s have 600 hp + 516 lb-ft.

BEAUTIFUL!!!! I hope this one will be as strong as 550 maranello, it's so superior and it's not prepared by Ferrari  !

The standard 575 is an heavy car, a GT rather than a sport car, but look how fast is now....imagine an Enzo...

Guys this is not street legal, it got to have more then 600BHP(since the prodrive 550 has close to 700BHP, and they need that power to be competative) its a race car, and trust me the 0-60 is way lower then 3.5sec.

I just cant wait till prodrive gets their hands on the 575M.

P.S Dont compare a pure race car to an Enzo.

actually the Prodrive 550 has 600 hp and 516 lb-ft. maybe these are just official figures, so it could be more than 600 hp, but I don't think as much as 700hp.

To be exact it has 629hp@6500RPM, 750nm torque@5000rpm and weight of 1151kg. These are the REAL numbers from the 2002FIA GT season of the Prodrive car of BMS Scuderia Italia, this year the car is much more powerful.

here it says 600: http://www.autoweek.com/search/search_display.mv?port_code=autoweek&cat_code=motorsportsnews&content_code=08391953&Search_Type=STD&Search_ID=1542857&record=3

anyway, I checked Ferrari's official figures for the 575GTC: 5997cc, 605 HP.
should be awesome on the track :D

personaly I find it amazing that the Enzo, with the same basic engine configuration (V12, 65 degrees, 4 valves per cylinder) and displacement (to be exact the Enzo has 1 more cc  ) has alot more HP. and thats within emisions and other regulations, and with catalytic converters!!!

These are the real numbers from BMS scuderia italia. Simbin development team got these numbers directly from BMS. SBDT made the GTR2002(FIA GT2002 simulator).

The official Ferrari 575 GTC details from the owners site:

Following on from the success of privately-entered 550 Maranellos in international GT racing, including a historic class win in the 2003 Le Mans 24 Hours, Ferrari has developed its own in-house evolution of the new 575M Maranello, the 575 GTC (where the C stands for Competizione).

Developed specifically for the FIA GT and GrandAm championships, the 575 GTC berlinetta features considerable modifications, starting with an increase in displacement from the production car’s 5,748 cc to 5,997 cc with a slightly longer stroke. Specific cam timing and Marelli engine management with the FIA regulation 31.8mm restrictors see power increase to 600 bhp which, when matched by the longest gearing of the optional final drives available, ensures a theoretical top speed of 335 km/h (208 mph). The gearing for Monza allows an effective top speed of 288 km/h (179 mph) and that for Estoril 270 km/h (168 mph).

Front and rear track have both been increased while the car’s dry weight has been drastically reduced to just over the minimum allowed weight of 1150 kg (2,530 lbs) thanks to the use of a specific tubular spaceframe chassis with composite body panels.

Lengthy wind tunnel testing has gone into developing the 575 GTC’s aerodynamics and the car sports a flat underbody with rear diffuser to FIA/ACO regulations, and an adjustable front spoiler together with a split rear wing with Gurney flap.

All-round double wishbone suspension features adjustable damping, and adjustable anti-roll bar and anti-dive geometry at the front. Braking is by courtesy of Brembo with 6-pot callipers at the front and 4-pot callipers at the rear.

The ex-factory price of the 575 GTC is €700,000 excluding taxes and delivery. For information on the production schedule and availability, please click on Car Purchase on the right-hand side of this page and complete the form.
