I just found this cool initialD site, showing pictures of the real locations which are in InitialD, Akina mountain, Usui Mountain ect... it even shows the real life bend where Takumia passed Ryousuke.
Just thought it would be interesting for the InitialD fans, also for the ppl that arnt into InitialD, you get to take alook at the racing scene in Japan, where the japs street race in the moutains.

hmm... its anime
im not a freak for it, but i do like some of the episodes. more for the driving descriptions rather then its computer generated cars.

SFDMALEX forget the story of the game, thats just there to make the game more interesting. The anime is what InitialD is all about!
InitialD follows the life of a young guy called Takumi, son of the ledgendary street racer Bunta. Takumi started driving cars at around 14 delivering tofu in the early hours of the morning, going across the bendy roads of Akina Mountain. Because he started driving so young he never thought driving his car was any fun, but his skill was way better than anyone els his age by the time he was 17. And to cut a long story short, one way or another he joined a group of street racers, after they reconised his skill. So if you follow the story, you see diffrent driving techiniques, and how he handles his car in diffrent situation. Now people say to me its only a cartoon chill out man. But the anime is based one realife happening ( like street racers on akina mountain) and real driving techinques, which are acurately used, in races, and described, so you can learn alil from this show which is cool. And its not just some stupid show, the cars are all motion captures from the drift king himself Kechii Tsuchiya, So u know the movement of the cars and racing styles used are authentic. So in the drift bible if you did'nt know what he mean when he said he taught Takumi to drive, you do know
Im not defending the show like some lil fanboy, Im trying to give the people who dont know much about it a little insight, and justifying you to take alil look at it if you aint seen it before.
But InitialD is definatly not "ghey"
