Just wanted to wish everyone on the board from down in the path of the storms and especially in Florida best of luck getting through the storms. Hope the damages aren't bad. Hopefully, it misses you guys completely.

Best of luck indeed...this is the first time that two hurricanes have hit in the same 12 or 24 hour period since 1906 or something. Crazy stuff hehe. I'm away from it, but the girl I'd like to try and date is there right now with her family and got evacuated yesterday.

I just recently moved from Florida, and all I can say is "wow, I got out in the nick of time." But good luck to those down there now. :)

We all are watching the progress of Charlie here in South Carolina. The governor just issued a voluntary evacuation along the coast line. Charlie should be entering the Atlantic tonight and regain strength. Time will tell if Charleston will get hit.

I hope that all the theme parks are safe

those rides at theme parks are built to outlast worse things look at the parks in the West with the Earthquakes. If fast wind knocks over rides at a theme park I wouldn't want to ever ride them.

And I hope everyone is OK down in the South East or atleast you got out of there in time.

I live in Nofolk Virginia check the Forum map I'm going to get hit by it after it regains its energy. To tell you the truth I've lost power some many times since I lived here I don't really care.

I hope you and every one else in its path will be okay. Up to 15Billion dollars damage, so far.
I have a cousin in Sarasota county and a grandmother near Daytona. As far as I know they are okay. Haven't heard anything. :(

On a funnier note: How come it is always a trailer park that gets the worst.

"How come it is always a trailer park that gets the worst."

Cause 140 mph winds can pick up a trailer with nothing under it a lot easier than a house that has a foundation and something under it.

Trailers are usualy around many trees to. We got hit still have power thank god but you can swim from one side of my street to the other.
