Altavista translation of the original dutch article :

The revealing of the new BMW 3-serie had been planned on his earliest just for November this year, whereupon the car around April 2005 in the showroom would have appear. The leaked brochure at present on several Internet sites which to download is, seems throw fumagine in this timetable. In spite of that we the Slovenian language not powerful is, is there already much distil information from the brochure. Such as usual also new 3-serie the beetje grows. The length increases with almost 5 centimetres up to 452 cm. The footing is 3.5 centimetre longer and cm now 276. Can it hope that a part of the profit helps to the achterpassagiers, because current three is not excessively wide in the back of. The luggage space increased in any case, however, of 440 up to 460 litres. The breadth of the car grew still most, with almost 1.82 m. the car is almost 8 centimer broader. The design is more conservative than we have got used the last time of BMW. Again Chris Bangle responsible for the design were, but he has had imply himself seemingly more. At 3-serie BMW no flop can permit itself, for that the model is too important. At the introduction comes 3-serie in four versions on the market as 320i, 325i, 330i and 320d. 320i have no more zesinlijn, but the 150 pk four cylinder from 1-serie. The top speed of 320i amounts to 219 km/h. The zesinlijn strength sources in 325i and 330i are new. The 258 pk engine from 330i have been recently presented already in 6-serie as 630i. With that sprint the car in 6.3 seconden of 0 to 100 km/h. The top amounts to begrenste 250 km/h. The engine from 325i provides a capacity of 218 pk, with that the car in 7.0 seconden accelerate from stilstand to 100 km/h. The provisional only diesel engine is the four cylinder 320d. in new 3-serie provides to that engine a capacity of 163 pk and a cross-belt of 340 Nm at 2000 tpm. A top speed of 225 km/h belongs to the possibilities, for the sprint of 0 to 100 is only 8.2 seconden necessary. The coming time the engine programme will be extended further, with probably still a cheaper model under 320i, more those awl and in the long run M3. Coachwork version also other among which a station wagon, coupé and convertible stand in planning. The last two will appear as 4-serie on the market. From uitrustingsstaatjes becomes clear that the 330i standard states on 17-inch rims with links in the half-measure 225/45 r 17 the remaining versions have 16-inch rims with a link half-measure of 205/55 r 16 as an option to be 18-inch wheels possible. ABS, tractiecontrole and ESP belong naturally to the standaarduitrusting. The dashboard is there in two alternatives. If it is chosen for the optionale iDrive with colour navigation, then a strong colour baffle stands on top of the middenconsole. Without iDrive that space remains empty. Just like 1-serie ' three ' motor-start-knop get. From the Slovenian accessory list becomes clear that climate regulation and a radio/CD-speler standard are, but that can deviate for the Dutch market.
