Every shot you make gives you more time. Watch the little bar, it'll move back every time you make it. Making more than one shot in a row doubles it's value, three shots ina row triples it's value and so on.
Hitting that paper plane is an automatic 400 points.

LOL, keep trying. Despite my numerous attempts, the closest I've gotten since was just over 9000. I guess I was in a groove when I got my 12000 score. I got 7 in a row on that one.
