I have a regular old Comcast Cable hookup
they say it's a 3Mbps connection but somehow I'm a bit higher than that.

well ...... i live in a millitary base .... they got their own net connection ... they got something like 3 dsl and are giving it to 500+ users .... and they dont give access to other connections outside the base (fucking security crap) ... well atleast i got 24 hrz free net .. :fadein:

That test is totally messed up (at least for me that lives in Sweden). Says I have 2.1Mbit/s. I have a 8/1Mbit/s connection. Try www.tptest.se. That works fine and shows 8.29Mbit/s downstream and 878Kbit/s upstream. Don't know if it works well outside Sweden but at least it's correct for us swedes.

No shit, I know its slow.
I wish I lived in South Korea where they have 20Mbps lines, better then the max of 1.5Mbps here in Australia. :cry: Its just a bit expensive at the moment to get a worthwhile broadband deal without d/l limits.

Yep, its insanely fast, I love it, but I had to wait three years for it to be finally available in my area.
Its cable capped on at 10megabit/1megabit with no download limits.
