Someone here played Knight Rider the game? It's not the best in the world but entertains.
I heard that Hasselhof is producing a new movie of Knight Rider for 2007. Can someone confirm?

According to imdb.com there's no info about David Hasselhof either producing or acting in a upcoming Knight Rider-movie.

That car certainly does bring back memories, however with such heavy modifications done to it it would be difficult to drive anywhere (especially with that 2 gallon fuel cell). If somebody wanted a Knight Rider car, but doesn't have the money for this one a Pontiac Firebird GTA would make a suitable base for the build. Not to mention they make kits to retrofit the front with the scanning lightbar just like K.I.T.T had.

there is an Official original K.I.T.T. at the Volo Auto Museum near me even signed by George Barris (the creator of the car) and David Hasselhof.

Well, according with the Empire Online the project of the movie is rolling with the Revolution Studios, the producers are Hasselhof himself with Glen A. Larson, Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray. The writers are David Elliott and Paul Lovett.
And they intend to release in 2005.

I used to watch that show every week. I kind of starting losing interest when it got really crazy. I liked it when the "Turbo Boost" button gave a boost of speed versus later, when it would make the car fly...and even more later, that stupid "Super Pursuit Mode" with the air brakes and everything...still...nostalgia for sure...

Yeah that show is such a classic, Im not sure where i heard this but, the movie is meant to have ashton kutcher as the new micheal knight and the new car was meant to be a dodge viper??? I read this awhile ago, not sure how true it is, but i think that would work.

and people thought knight rider 2000 was a flop.. that thing would go straight to video. ashton kutcher is a dumb ass.

They're still working on script, but Ashton Kutcher is meant to be Michael's son, Hasselhof will act as Michael Knight again. I didn' heard anything about the car that will fit KITT, but the voice will be the same from the original series.

At least KITT's voice will be the same. Hope they keep the 'schwoo , schwoo' strobe/light/scanner thingy-ma-jiggy on the front of KITT.
As a child of the 80's, I was quite a fan of the show and also watched others such as Airwolf and 'the man, the macine, Streethawk!

Hasselhoff had a pay-per-view music concert on tv at the same time as OJ Simpson's infamous highway chase scene. His music was massively popular in Europe especially Germany) and this was his attempt to 'crack' the US market. Thank you OJ! ;)

I downloaded the demo for "knight rider 2" for PC last week. It sucked! I can see how it would be a fun console game, but for the PC its pretty weak. Sad, really, as they could have made a fun game out of it.
