lol, I think the manual cover blends in a little too well with the carbon fiber. And Jabba's idea of key on roof/trunk is just too risky for a new paint job. :lol:

Hahaha, do you know me? :o Because I WAS supposed to get a black one but they couldn't find one. BTW, I had a WRX STi before this. It was stolen and stripped to the max. :cry:

Anyway, I wouldn't mod my Evo (If I got one in the first place) what more would u need ?

While we're at it I thought of something, how about us adding a new thread for member cars' acceleration figures? No manufacturer's bs just the numbers the members could get from the car along with the conditions (temperature, etc)

Of course, that's after ur break-in, but just to get ur mindset ready for mods keke

You're right. I do. I had the opportunity to drive an evo, not just reading articles or watching Best Motoring. This is a first-hand experience, why wouldn't I buy one, or should I say replacing one, to actually know how it performs?

Yeah but it still handles like nothing I've ever driven (which is not much). I guess not having AYC and ACD means it's less prone to electrical defects/problems ala Mercedes. 8)

You know, it actually doesn't blow, not much. :lol: I prefer driving a manual rather than auto, NYC, LA freeway or not. Auto is just plain boring and lowers my awareness. I've gotten into 3 small "Accidents" in my old ass automatic Toyota Rav4 when I first started driving. Then none in the Subaru and none in the Evo, so far. (crosses fingers)

My folks all drive manuals so I guess it's a family thing, it runs in the blood. :twisted:

You forgot to mention the giant metal plates they put in the street during constuction. Those will rip the bottom of your car out. Also you should stay away from chick that smell.

Whew, finally got a new computer and back on JW! :D

My Evo's exterior still looks the same as it was coming out the dealer. But now it's modded and stronger (HKS RS intake, 3-inch turboback exhaust, HKS EVC V, and HKS S-AFR) It just needs to get tuned and dynoed, then the head and taillights blacked-out and I'll be done 'til 2005 because I'm dead broke.

Here are some updated pics both solo and with another white Evo buddy of mine. His E8 is stock at the time and mine's the one without the windshield banner. Videos could be up sometime too.

I'm only able to boost up to 15.7psi (19 stock) because my POS plastic bypass valve can't seem to hold 21psi. I also need some bigger injectors, some bigger this, stronger that...the next thing you know I'm over-spending like hell. So as of right now, I'm expecting maybe...270awhp? :?

I did take some pics during "daytime", but if the sun wants to go down @ 4pm there's nothing I can do about it. But I'll post them up later. :)

Just make sure you keep your license plate blacked out and if you do SCCA events, just be aware that Mitsu actively searches web boards finding people that have modded their cars and then denying their warranty on the spot.

The dealer I got my evo from said.. Sorry Owais No warrenty on the car you pay for it and you take it home and that's it . And I'm glad they told me that because few days later I got my BOV and filter installed .. few more weeks I installed the exhaust system.. and from their onward it's been fun.. not always but overall it's been fun..
