I saw other pictures from that event. There was a SUPERGORGEOUS MIURA TOO! And they "raced" it too. Also a yellow 360CS I think! Very nice pics indeed!

Woah! Hot stuff. But I still think the Orange Yellow with black rims looks better on the car.

I agree, the orange looks better. Would love to see a CCR in black.

I absolutely HATE the interior.

That 1 foot long shift stick looks like a dildo, and the dials look like something out of an old arcade game, IMO.

its a very nice car but from seeing the top gear episode on it its not a great car for the turns, its handlin is brutal but its quite fast on a straight line

Yeah, i'm not a fan of it either. The color is
gross, the stick does look like a dildo, the
speedo layout is strange and last the main
console of buttons looks like a rottary phone.

Prefer the interior of a CGT or Zonda.

This car is simply a bit TOO insane IMO since the normal version even beats the McLaren F1 to my knowledge. Excellent and very rare pics though :D

Great to see a Koenigsegg outside of the photo-studio and in the real world.

What's this about a Miura being there...does anyone have pics? :D

Shifter is sequential tranny, that's why it's so tall. To be close to the steering wheel.

Car is supposedly very cool. My friend Faisal has driven two. He loves them, however I am not a fan. Of course, I've never driven one, so my opinion is worth less than the 2c you paid... I will say this...the center console setup is very nicely done. They put time/thought into the rotating dial setup.

hey wait a sec, wat's the redline on this car? 8000? cos there's no redline on the rev meter!

and is the speed supposed to be read on the digital display only?

and are there paddles on the steering wheel to shift gears? :?

no i dont think this car is paddle shifted. Its a stick shift, i didnt see any paddles or steering wheel mounts on it. Also i think redline is 8500, or maybe 8 grand, not sure. But i do believe that the speed is read digitally.

thanks for that blah, a shame about the paddles though. you would think that a sequential gearbox would come with paddles, most do; mercedes, alfa romeo, ferrari, lamborghini, maserati, why wouldn't this one?

I love it. I also happen to think that a sports car looks great in silver, with grey mag wheels.. :

Paddles ruin the car. All the paddles suck with the exception of the DB9's which doesn't use a manual gearbox with automated clutch .

I like the car and what a engine  This should be the new top speed car. I hear that the company has a test at Nardo comming up. I personally hate the inside of the car but who does not like the doors. They are just cool. :D 8)

Don't know how many of you watched the Gumball 3000 for 2003, but there was a koenigsegg in it and it fell apart the entire time. Some British guy had to pay a Garage service to follow him from Las Vegas to Florida.

Nice looking, but reliability issues it seemed.

What is that carpet under the car in the 7th photo? Just a carpet or some kind of sensor?
Thanks

a Koenigsegg CC was on the gumball 2003 in the USA last yr. also since the first top gear test, jeremy has tested it again it hink maybe in shootout i forget, but he said the car was 'transformed' clutch was light, shifter silky smooth, power more easily controlled, and the car was all around better than before, and it was no slouch in the beginning

This is one of the only supercars which I don't find boring in silver. but the interior lacks the fineness of the Zonda. Badass pix. THX :D

Yeah, feels like old school sportcars, power under the hood, stunning look design and spartan interior.

incredible car, just unbelievable!!! It lays on the ground like no other car! The engine is also so impressiv!! Super cool car.

I don't think that's right bobafett...I could well be wrong, but I was under the impression that a sequential transmission was not on offer, but that the shifter had long stalk just so that it falls to hand easily when driving. If you recall the CC8 that was driven on TG, the car there also had a very tall shifter, as have all the other Koenigseggs on which I've laid eyes.

Odd...you know Ichthyomorphic means fish-like, or something to that effect...strange thing to say that a car's design concept is Ichthyomorphic then eh?
