I had a number of Gmail invites coming through my addresses, but they've dried up as of the 1st of July, nadda! nuzing!

Yes it happened to me , i signed up to a forum and the mail was in hte junkmail , i sent a mail from my cell phone to a friend ( it was urgent ) and it reached his junkmail , hotmail really sucks

I've got a hotmail account, purely for the odd MSN chat that I get into. Otherwise, I reckon it is all bullshit. Waaay, waaay too much spam - Nigerian money scams, penile enlargement, find my true love, offers to get rid of my mortgage (what mortgage) and of course the ones claiming to make me a gazillionaire by working from home! :roll:

A friend of mine made one of my accounts into 10mb. Dont know how much he paid for it, but all I know is that now I have been upgraded from 10mb to 2gb :shock:

yes hotmail seems to be giving the extra storage to paying customers before all the regular consutmers, also I think a handful of people are getting the free 250Mb already, because I know a few people that have them....

Hotmail I think is the most used email service in the world, or at least among them, but 2MB's is just not enough. Also you'll recive a lot of spam, like penis enlargement messages (wich have now stopped, but have been replaces with "cheap cigarettes" adds).
And their new "junk mail filter" also puts the reply messages from forums under bulk mail.

Those are the main reasons I just recently switched so GMail.

1000MB's should be enough storage. I dunno about the junk filter there, 'cause I haven't gotten any junk.
