OMG, what were they thinking with those arches!!! This is a demo car, costing over £100,000 to build, apparently it was not insured (dick). The fire was a result of some bad wires to the speakers.

Well, I feel sorry for the owner, who obviously put some hard work in, and to lose a lot of money, but he was an idiot not to insure it!! And, well, it is a rice car, so no real loss there! :wink:

Actually, it was Opel/Vauxhall Astra Bertone, but that Jackass ruined the car by putting crap wannabe-DTM kit. serves him right,,,and obviously that wasn't intended to be a performance car with 3 ginormous speakers on the back seat (or where it used to be)

The car looks like a customization on a fantastic limited series car, the Opel Astra Coupe V8 DTM. Like the new Merc that was put on sale recently. But this sound craziness is not part of the package.
