They play with like 100 different balls during the game. What are the odds of this one being the bechaml one?

A british newspaper originally wanted to give the guy 18.000 euros. That's how he got the idea of putting it on the internet. I guess he was pretty amazed when it reached 100.000 euros on Ebay. I'd like to see his face now.....

BTW what kind of car would he buy?

English text:

The Official Match Ball used on the game against Portugal, that left UK out of the Europe Cup, the same ball of the penalty, that David Beckham miss, will be auctioned on eBay. Pablo Carral, a fan, catched the ball and he took it out from the stadium.

Is the Official Europe Cup Match Ball, made in Thailand. It has the date of the game, the 24th of June 2004, also the place of the celebration, da Luz of Lisbon stadium.

Don’t loose this great and unique chance!!!

Place a bid now!!!

The buyer will pay the shipping cost.

And the buyer has to pay shipping... ;)

12 million to a seller with zero feedback?

And the current high bidder's last transaction on eBay was selling a $3 telephone....

...and the second highest is a non-paying dead bead with negative feedback on his last transaction...

 - this is pretty funny.... he should have taken the $18K and run... ;)

well the person would have to give you everything they have to their name, and lawyer would only need to get a % of that, your lawyer doesn't get paid if you don't get paid so even if you don't get alot neither would your lawyer

This morning i did a search on ebay UK and another ball came up, and it was only £52.
I just checked it again and it isn't there anymore.
The funny thing was that the page had a exact copy of the one selling in spain.
This was the link which is no longer valid. :D I wonder why.

Note: This listing is restricted to pre-approved bidders or buyers only.

Email the seller to be placed on the pre-approved bidder/buyer list.

This alone leads me to believe those current "high bidders" are shill-bidders in league with the seller... :P

I like football but I still got brains to think that it's not even worth a 100$ .. Sorry I will spend my money eles where.. By the way maybe all of those guy or most of them are friends of the seller and they are trying to increase the price . ever though about that.

hehe, I guess he isn't getting more than 20k-40k for the ball, no matter what the actual bid is.

I do not contradict that :), but it's quite a lot less than 10M. BTW: eBay stuff removed some bids, so the real price as of now is EUR 23.650,00.

Current bid: EUR 23,650.00

Even for $23k, it's still too much for just a ball. I guess some rich football fan may just buy it and blow it up  Reminds me of that guy in America who blew up a baseball.
