This does not apply to all non ferrari fans.

I hear too many people talking all this shit about how F1 is so boring.Too bad! Its not like all u Mclaren and Williams Fans have not had your turn at glory.

Also why would you want f1 to make all these rule changes to slow down ferrari.Unless Ferrari lost by a large amount of points why would you want to win like that, also Mclaren and williams dont whant all these changes to happen because they know that it is there responsibility to become as good a team as ferrari.

It is not fare that F1 is trying to make it harder for ferrari to win.I dont care much though because its not doing much:).

the new rules are not ment to make it harder for them to win. they are ment to allow everyone like jordan, and Minardi a change to win. (but this could put an end to ferrari)

Its not boring to watch, its simply the camera director who's an idiot......
During the French GP the entire time the camera was on SHumi and the Renault while a battle behind them was going on......Brundle kept us informed but that can only go so far......anyways the point is that if we are always watching a Ferrari on the screen than clearly its boring......but if the cameras where to focus on battles down the field (perhaps a split screen) than the audience wouldn't just c Shumi doing laps and laps and laps in 1st place with no one around him.
.....just a thought, perhaps I could be this director guy

U agree with u when u say that "Mclaren and Williams had your turn at glory."

But i have to disagree with you on the rest.

Yes F1 is boring, even for the Ferrari fans. Do u get any "pleasure" when winning a race by 1 minute advantage?? No.

Lets be real. Ferrari has the best driver in F1 and a moppet.
IMO Barrichello is an average driver.
Ex. Giancarlo Fisichella finished 6th in a Sauber, Barrichelo 3 in the best car in F1.

The difference between the glory days of Williams and Mclaren is that they let their drivers care each other Ferrari doesn't. Ok Barrichelo could race MS anyway but why not get another driver that will give MS a run for his money??

Look at Mclaren this year, Kimi is good but they went and got Juan for next year. Are u going to tell me that they won't race each other??

Sorry, Ferrari are responsible for the boring F1, but not because there car is very very good but because of team orders.

Do u remember the fights between Senna and Prost while at Mclaren?? And more recently, between Mikka and David.

There's a big difference don't u think??

Note: I'm trying to be a neutral supporter in this opinion.

if they find it boring, maybe it's time for them to watch something else. actually, i don't know why they say f1 is boring this season. for me, this season actually is one of the most exciting. yes, schumacher and ferrari may have won 10 of 11 races, but if you'll notice there are actually 5 teams (ferrari, mclaren, williams, bar, renault) who are up there and very competitive. unlike in the past where there were only 2 teams battling it out. in all honesty, ferrari is not as dominant as you may think this season, unlike in 2002. this year ferrari has had to be creative with their strategy and schumacher has to drive balls out to lead his ferrari to victory. boring? i don't think so.

anyone who watched last race, yesterday, could not tell me that F1 is boring, i thought that was an awesome race at silverstone ... rule changes are welcome, as F1 has gone through so many throughout the years and survived ... ms is the best, but rubens is in top five and could race with anyone and has been all year long, as far as team orders, there is always one and two, but these rumors about ferrari are mostly conspiracy theory, ms is a better driver ... oh, and i am so glad mclaren is doing so well with the new car, finally kimi can show off his skills

Sorry maybe i wasn't clear. :( My opinion isn't based on this year let alone last race. My opinion is based on the LAST 3/4 years, specially in 2002 and don't forget Austria as the prime example.

About the race in Silverstone i also think is was if not the best race, one of the best in 2004.
My opinion about last race:

Youre absolutetely spot on mate, that ennoys me too, they keep following the lead car but the action always happens right behind it, whats the point of wathcing the entire race MS's car if you know that he's going to win anyway :?

I agree with the fact that if you think its boring then you should be watching something else. F1 has always been about tactics as well as pure driving skill, it just so happens Ferrari seem to have the best of both with MS and ross braun. Ok, maybe some races be more exciting than others, but i dont think you can have such a thing as a boring F1 race. If i was at the circuit, just watching one car go round a circuit by itself would be pretty exciting; you have to remember that these are the ultimate driving machines.

I think rule changes maybe neccessary to bring the low budget teams a lil closer to the top teams but i dont think restricting engine sizes is going to help. Danger has always been a part of F1 and the drivers know this, so why slow them down? F1 is supposed to be a spectacle, if i wanna see slow cars ill go round a circuit ill go to my local cart track....

Theres always going to be one team that has a slight edge over everyone, whether this be the car, the driver, budget or team members. It just happens that at this particular moment that team is ferrari and the situation will undoubtedly change one way or another in the near future ;)

I agree(damn), there are cicles when Mclaren is invincible(Senna's age), Williams is invincible (Mansel's times) and there are times when Ferrari is invincible(now).

Mclaren fans and Williams fans, Ferrari waited 21 years for Schummacher, let us have some fun.

Oh, if is not clear, I'm a Tifosi.

Forza Ferrari!

LOL I was expecting alot more people to disagree with me.

I also agree with wat poeple are saying about how der is alot of action in the middle pack of cars.I know they do not show the slower cars very much because the top teams are rewarded by getting more tv coverage, but if der is sumthing interesting going on with a sauber and a jordan show it.

I dont think that the lack of audience comes from the domination of ferrari, just because before the ferrari domination, we had a mclares domination for 2 years at least, and before that we had some williams domination, the real problem, i think.....that the F1 is getting boring since 6 years now on....more or less since the petrol tank filling has been allowed to do..........and since then, every team has focused their efforts on the strategy,....because winning a race from a good strategy rather than from a good overtaking is less risky.......and this supposes to waste less money for the F1 teams.......and this fact interests to every team....i think that this is the main point(the lack of taking the risk to overtake).........for the loss of audience, and the reputation of the formula 1

I think youy make a good point about the pit stops. The pits is ware all the passing has taken place when it comes to the top teams.I think i could get used to it but it would be weird at first.

....(perhaps a split screen) ...

Know that's and interesting point. I think this is already available on digital TV and if i'm not wrong Sky show it in digital but i think u have to pay £12 for it.

But split screen?!?!?! Anyone with the phone number of Bernie?? :D

And are there only Ferrari fans in JW??? :)

ok lets see.... lots to talk about here.....

spad: it seems to me that they want to slow down the cars for 2 reasons
1. so teams like jordan and minardi have a chance in hell ( like toranto said)
2. better for sponsors and spectators...slower cars are easier to see....
3. its safer i guess!

is F1 boring.....

ok as a ferrari fan obviously its kinda expected for MS to win.... but let me tell you, when montoya f'ed up shumi in monaco i was pissed as hell... y?
because he could possibly have won that race.... i mean good job for trulli but if MS won he'd be untouchable (to date)....
i want michael to win and if there is any chance he won't, as a ferrari fan, i feel very "emotional" about it...
i kinda understand where MClaren/BMW fans are coming from... its seems boring to them seeing men in red cars shooting passed and jumping on podia (podium's plural form??)

BMW is doing piss poor this season and wtf happened to mclaren?
perhaps if this past battle between kimi and michael wasnt just some fluke... we could be in for a very interesting rest of the season.... all the teams really need to step up to ferrari's level...they shouldnt have to restrict ferrari from developing... i think the scientific develpoments aerodynamics and such are a part of the sport... its an extra edge...its y all f1 cars are not all the same.... technology and the driver work together in F1...which is y i like it.. just my 2(ish) cents! :D

I think the racing this year has been very interesting. Even tho MS is always winning, its fascinating to see how he will win, when he's going to pull out the fast laps and what his pitstop strategy will be to get ahead.

For example, the last GP he made a 2 stop strategy while most others made a 3 stop strategy, but the previous GP he went with a 4 stop strategy while everyone else was on the 3 stops.

If Kimi's strategy had been better he could well have won the last GP.

I heard that the new tracks are adding to the boringness. Car mag said that Sakhir in Bahrain was poorly designed. It looks nice, but no drama. I hope China does better.

I love F1 and will always tape the races and religiously watch them with out touching the fast forward button. It does kill me to see Schuey take off in the distance every race. I am a believer in removing traction control to make all the drivers show their real talent and not rely on the big budget technical advances money brings.

I also think they should remove TC I think it would help the passing.F1 is suppose to have the the best racing cars in the world but the whole reason teams kick shitty drivers of their teams is because it Also has the best drivers in the world(in most casses).I do not think this will change Schumachers status but i may make his journy to first position more interesting(if he doesn't start on pole).
