hey, i bet some of you guys never knew about the extra stage...i have it on vcd, its a 2 disc set...story plot based on the silvia racin gals...its a waste of money but i like collecting the initial d vcds...

Paying for initial D is a waste of money, its one of the most common series on kazaa and bittorrent. I got 1st stage off kazaa, and 2nd, 3rd and extra off boxtorrents. Extra stage really is awful though.

i didnt think the extra stage was awsull.it was different seein a different point of view from the story/characters.not as good as the whole takumi story.but was still good.

Extra stage is a dissapointment I thought :( Did'nt see Takumi or the Hachi-Roku :(

what do you expect guy!? it takes a long time to make animation that good...the actual anime series only came out like 2 years ago!? i think...

Actually, as far as the animes go, first stage came out in '98, second stage in '99 and third stage in 2001. I think extra stage came out around the same time as second stage.

I know how long animation takes im just saying, there bringing 2 episodes out in japan on pay perview nearly every month.
