Honda S2000
2.0L 4 cyclinder

This is the family sports car, our Honda S2000. As the story goes dad came home one day because the local dealer offered him the car for the weekend. But monday it was ours. It was a really spot of the moment thing and no one has looked back since.

^^^Me

Over the past six months i have gained my learners permit and now drive it is often as i can. It is a great feeling when you rev the engine to 9000 RPM be fore shitfing to the next gear and doing it again. It is such an easy car to speed in. Not having driven many sports cars i cant tell you that it compares good, but from what i can tell it holds the road really well in the corners except in the wet where it can be a bit tricky.
I dont believe in modifications that can rice the car up. However we did get S2000 lasered on the wind deflector whcih looks ok.

i have no idea why but all the picks i show you happen to have those in then, as for the GP and motor show i was trying to look nice so as i could get into the cars and it worked. As i said this one is just a coincidence

Nice car. I drove one about 3 years ago - it had an awesome gearbox - snick.. snick ...snick.

The 2000 edition was a bit nervous though - especially in the wet. Yours should be a lot better..

A great track car.

Hehe, I have a few of them myself, but quickly checking the rare pic of TT I have around, I wear one in maybe 10% of them :P that's what I call "coincidence" :D

not from 9000 i think that would end in a bit of pain, but i have from about 6. My cusin was over from the states earlier this year and he showed me how to do it with out destroying my clutch. How does he know? he has one and an NSX.
but yeah it is good fun and loud as you could imagine

I'm glad you like the car Cho! I finally got to drive my dad's S2k (the white one in the sig), and you're right about revving it to the redline (though its 8K on the new one), its lots of fun and the car is absolutely manic, especially in VTEC range.

Question: does it also seem to you that Honda's numbers are really conservative? ours 0-60'd in like 5.3.

Yes i do think that, the times can be beaten if you drop the clutch from a high number. most ar magazine give it a terrible 0-60 because they dont drive it like it has to be driven and thats with lots and lots of revs.

oh the car the car is very dirty at the moment

Apart from the steering wheel on "the wrong side of the car" it's a beautiful machine!!!
I've seen one in a dyno, and this shit screams like anything else!! It as a power curve that only stops on the ignition cut. Until then it goes up and up and up!
