I was wondering...i want to lower my 1990 300E benz with some Eibachs, but I was wonderin if I would have to get some aftermarket shocks or short stroke shocks for the new springs. of will the ride be okay with just the springs? hmm...this has been on my mind lately and dont know whether or not if I want to lower my car anymore. :?

It really depends how much u are lowering you car, and will the ride height still fall into the operating range of the shocks. (I would say 1inch max if u wanna stay with stock shocks)

yeah the eibach springs will only lower the car about 1 inch. i was looking around and I cant find any aftermarket shocks for my car. so front and rear? hmm...anyone know a place where I can find them? :D
Or get a KW gewinde or simular suspension so you can decide for your self how low you want it, and if you are going on bad roads sometimes or hae to put alot of people and luggage into it you can just raise it again quik and easy....
I was about to buy myself some adjustable KW myself last year.. then I just preferred to spend the money somewhere else LOL but well, quick and easy isn't really the right way to describe it if since you have to raise the car, and remove all the wheel to change the ride height :D

Try this they have KYB and Koni shocks/struts they are nice and simple not too hard to do If you are knowledgable enough to do Suspension stuff (that was the last thing I was willing to mess with on a car other than internals on a tranny till I took classes)
Good luck with the project.

No problem didn't take much time.
yeah they are great with prices I'm gonna order some new tires from them soon I have about 2 weeks worth of rear rubber left
I just bought new brake stuff from them and saved a bitch load and they are Brembo not typical Auto Zone brand or whatever

I personally recommend changing them all at the same time just to make sure they are all matched up properly etc... That's what I do atleast.
