You'll have to wait to see the turbo working for the 5th episode
In the fourth episode it's the race of takumi against the Civic TypeR

im guessing Takumi schools Dice and K.T. will do the same with Smiley. what the hell is a Scooby? Bunta has a Silver IMPREZA WRX type R STi Version V [GC8]
scooby is another nickname for impreza.but as it seems in the intro Bunta owns a blue modded WRX STI (what i thought was a 22b at first) and it shows takumi racing it.so must be his dad.i really dont know who will win that.id like to say takumi but i seem to have the idea that his dad will.

InitialD is a anime about street racing, Keechi Tsuchiya (mind the spelling) A.K.A drift king, Helps make it, he does all the motion capture of all the drifts. I dont know who would win outta Takumi and Bunta, I dont even know who I would want to win?!?!?!
Bunta somehow does own a Scooby tho cuz all the initialD websites say so, and if you play the arcade game and race Bunta, hes in a Scooby, has anyone seen the Drift Bible dont by the Drift King?
hehe just thought of when i was havin a convo wit ma mate bout the new impreza, and he got tounge tied, and sed scoobaru

There are a few different Bit torrent servers that can help you find the episodes. You can also get seasons 1, 2, and 3 with the bonus disc in subtitle on ebay or a few DVD sites. The complete box set is pretty cheap.
I have been watching it for a while now and I really enjoy it. It is definately a fiction cartoon but a fun show to watch none the less. I am curious when bunta got a car. I am pretty sure it has never been shown in the show but I think there is also a print comic version also.

Is your DVD set by Tokyopop? probably not, sounds like they come from Japan. Even tho on the tokyopop version u can put the original subtitles back on, I dont think you can have the music which is on the original japanese show.
nope not by tokyopop.as far as i know they are the original japanese ones with subtitles, original packaging and the music from the original japanese show.

Nice one, from what I heard you got the best of the best :D I got all of em on PC but do plan to get the box-set once 4th stage is on DVD aswell. I think its the best show there is lol. Its just abit sad when I call myself Takumi and try to grip the gutter on road everytime i pass one. I try to drift too but its hard in a front wheel drive car :(

Theres a pic of me
lol,if only it was as easy to drive like he does.tryin to drift is a task that should be done on tracks or in huge ass empty car parks with no one around.i personally have never tried it,no point in my little saxo as FWD as u said isnt exactly the best.
but i do say buy the initial D DVD's.they are worth it if your a big fan.

^^^^ I do that sometimes late at night during a snowy winter. (so u can do it in very slow speeds LOL)
But gotta agree, with every hiking Toronto insurance, its wise not to risk own ass or others.

Man, that kinda sucks for you guys, there a lots of great roads to drive on in a highly illegal manner where I live. I've got FWD too though, but you should try left foot breaking, you'd be surprised at what FWD is capable of in the right hands! :D

I love Initial D.
The DVD's just started coming out here in Australia, but its 3 episodes per DVD, so I'm waiting till the whole box set comes out.
I'll have to make do with the downloaded versions until that happens tho.
I heard rumours Bunta had a WRX, but I haven't seen it. Wonder if he opens his eyes when he drives it :).
