Taken from Autocar UK

Schumi popping down to the shops? Close - it's Richard Bremner in a road-worthy F2004. Nearly.

'This isn't the result of some F1 marketing exercise, or the prized possession of a wealthy fan,' writes Richard Bremner in Autocar this week. 'It's a hand-built F1 car.... and it's beautifully deceiving.'

Sadly that is the only pic of the car i could find... and no specs :(

I don't think the V10 will be there, and the car doesn't look like the most aerodynamic thing on the streets

What a loser. I mean, if i can't afford to buy Ferrari F1 machine (which you can buy from Ferrari) I would start saving money or play Lotto. It's like those guys who built Lambo and Porsche CGT replicars but much much worse.

I Have that issue of Autocar and when I get back to my apartment in Ann Arbor, I'll be more than happy to scan it in. In the meantime, here's a little info:

It's a completely scratchbuilt car, started off to look like the Ferrari F310 as I recall, but it took so long to complete that he started updating the bits and pieces of it. It is fully road legal and is a mish-mash of different car parts. The engine is from an Alfa Romeo and it's a little 4-cylinder with a little over 100bhp. The next incarnation is supposed to use the Alfa 3L V6, but that's still in the pipeline and certainly isn't road legal yet.

WTF? 100 bhp? i could beat him in my Mini.....

If it had 3-400 hp it would be great. I remember some japanese guy made a real F3000 road legal and drove it around.... That must be fun
