I challenege someone to find the slowest car currrently in production....

I know britains slowest has a 0 -62 of 20.9

and the slowest top speed is 84 mph

(these are 2 different cars)

Someone name these cars ;)
Anyone got any slower cars?

Just a thought to keep you all amused for a few minutes ;)

The original HUMMERS were geared for Off-Road which gave them the blistering top speed of 65-75mph (disputed) now they go 100 atleast

hehe correct t bird, the smart car has a top speed of 84 mph ;)

fiat 500 and vw bug arent in production anymore, unless your talking about the new vw bug in which case its pretty quick in comparison

When I reach 120 km/h with it I have the sensation that I'm inside my mum's washing machine. I've always thought that to be able to drive this car you have to pass the bike exam because in the corners it rocks from on side to another like a bike...but to the opposite side :wink:

We still do have Lada 2105 around here, 2004 model :D I think these can be slower than the 0-62 time of 20.9 seconds

lol, i woulda thought so but the slowest production lada at the moment scrapes 100kph in about 14

yea i knew aboiut that but there r still some "new" old bugs so i thought that could count...

the slowest 0 - 62mph uk current production car is the Fiat Doblo 1.9 D SX with 20.9 seconds ;)

I guess you right there mate, but the term slow car reminded me of that thing when it was on topgear with the stig in it racing against jogging Jason :)

there are some really small displacement
700cc japanese K - cars.. dahatsui..suzuki are questioable..

those hybrid cars are fairly slow as well..
ie. RAV4-EV. max speed of 75miles..

thats one of the WORST cars I have ever seen...esp in malaysia where they modded it up...18' inch Rims...straight thru exhaust etc...making loud noises but are just crawling on the road.....still remembered when i ws driving my X-trail in malaysia....this Bugger in the kelisa revved his engine hard...i didn't even floor the accel and next thing he knew, He can't even see my taillights....what a joke man....Nothing beats diaplacement....thats what i believe...2.5L vs 700cc...no fight at all

i think the VW Kombi is the slowest car in production (yes they still produce it here in Brazil)

the slowest car on sale in europe must be ...the perodua kelisa..the malasian car that is sold in the UK...or the suzuki maruti as well....which it has about a 600cc engine...
