After seeing the french GP today my answer is no, not this season at least... The combination of michaels driving skill and ross brauns brains is just simply an unbeatable combination. Ok, so teams like McLaren n williams aren't up to their usual standard this season but even so I think ferrari have got a too good a car/team that no one can match. I really am very impressed with ferrari, although races this season havent been the most exciting, they have just crushed the opposition....

Yes, but first you need to take Michael out of this equation first. -- it'll happen in the next 2 years.

Well Renault took second today... a French bagette up the Italians ass  ... Barichello from 10th to 3rd was a nice to see... If Renault was on Bridgestone and not michelin, could they have beaten the scuderia? I think so... Well the french sure have an impressive take off!

They build robots just to play chess, will they do the same just for racing? Will there be a point when we ask if Shumi or some robot named "f1r001" was better?

I would like to see Schumacher move to one of the slower teams and see what he can do there. Like Rossi did.
Surely he's not getting much satisfaction out of his racing at the moment. Maybe he'll start not qualifying in order to make it interesting for himself.

and so the ferrari-schumacher steamroller continues. i am definitely sure that they will win both championships this season. it would take a brave man to bet against that. :)

Well chippanggo,
stranger things have happened. Who would have guessed, three weeks ago, that Greece would become the European Champion in Soccer this year ? ( Except for my youngest son that is  )
In all honesty: the difference between Ferrari and the rest of the field in F1 is becoming a bit embarrassing. Last year they took real beating at Magny Cours and now it was a real Ferrari and mouse game.
Eventually Ferrari will be beaten in F1 but that will take some time I'm afraid.
Perhaps the other teams stand a change when FIA enforces new drastic measures to cut costs aswell as speed but until than ....

Micheal this Micheal that. You guys seem to be forgeting that Rubens is second in the Championship standing. If you think about it taking Schumi out puts Rubbens in the first spot. So no, its not all Micheal.

I disagree. Look at the times for each lap for this latest race. Schumi ran consistant 10.5 type times. No one else came close to doing that. Not even rubens in the same car. Schumacher is a great driver. Possibly the best ever.

No argument there. Im saying that Ferrari will not be easy to stop even without Micheal. If Micheal was not there Rubbens would be the number one driver in the standing right now. Meaning that Ferrari would still be winning.

U must be new to F1.If u did not know he was in a slower car when he started and he was comppetative when he was with benetton and he made the team a championship winning team.He did the exact same thing with ferraril. All he ever does is rise to the occation.

But this was all ages ago, he's a much different driver now, and Ferrari is a very different team.
It would be awesome to see him in one of the slower cars.
OOOOO sorry i see wat u mean.Ya it would be cool to see him struggle again. It would interesting to see how he would do in a B.A.R battling against Renault.
What i would really like to see is M.S. in a minardi.I would love to see how far he could take the team in a year.He would probably be beating the jardans by the end of the season.

micheal and ferrari are unbeatable. winner in 9 out of 10 races, and one DNF. he is nearly prefect so far this season, i dont predict micheal losing a race he finishes all year long. and he doesnt get bored of winning, look at his face after he wins. hes working harder than anyone out there, combined with supernatural racing abilities, he is completely unstoppable. 8)

yes, they are one crash away from being an average f1 team, let's say schumi has the kind of accident ralf had or worst ... otherwise the answer is NO
I dont think a crash like that would happen at a nother track. That corner at indy is verry fast, but it is possible
