It's been one year to the day, (july 2nd, 2003 - 6 days before my 22nd birthday) that I bought my maranello. with 12,299 on the clock then, I have now got 26,737.

I have to say, the car has been the source of a lot of joy, a lot of random events, a lot of fun, a few mishaps, only one ticket (yesterday!!), and basically got me hooked.

I have abused this car, enjoyed it, taken care of it, learned about it, broken it, fixed it, not washed it, done wierd things to it (bike rack), and in general had a good time with it.

As the stable grows, I look forward to the years coming. I must say, I don't think I'm selling this car...

It must really be a heck of a car, eh? I'm also glad to see you're actually using your car as opposed to storing it in some air-conditioned garage where nobody can see and hear it. Props to you mate! 8)

Hehe, in an ideal world nobody would sell his / her previous cars :D so at 80 you can look in your garage and find all the cars you owned over the years :D and for sure to put a 550 in it is a great joy :D

Well at 14k miles 20k kilometers you have driven a lot your maranello , nice to see someone that actually uses his Ferrari as a daily driver , now just put those enzo wheels and it will look astonishing :D

Oh .. and congrats to the car for gettin his 1st ticket ( all ferraris are bad boys huh ) and congrats for you 300 post :P

Well, this isn't my first ticket... it's my 8th now. But I have a system to get out of them in California. This is the first in that car, though.

I have to say, I think the most important thing about having a car is the people you come across with similar passion. THAT is what matters most.

One word: Valentine1

Or maybe you have one already? Anyhow, at least in NY if you plead not guilty, half the time the officer doesn't show up in court and you get off scot-free.

Thats a really good idea you have of a sport car, enjoy it, I know several fellas here in Monterrey that have lots of ferraris, but in a huge garage and they are never driven, nor see, you have enzos f50 and f40 in garages, tahts a shame
