I'm thinking about dropping that into my car at somepoint in my life... I think it would be kind of funny..

i dont see too many diesels here. a friend of mine used to drive his parents old 240 D Benz, only diesel car ive been in. they arent too common around my parts, except for truckers and such.
diesels here in the UK are quite popular, cheaper insurance than other cars.
the top of the diesels has to be the golf though, around were i live i see more people drivin the golf GT TDI than the regular GTI turbo, and the diesel is just that bit faster, plus the torque in that engine is unbeleivable

Yeah, car wise, diesels aren't too common. But truck wise, alot of people have the dodges with the Cummons TDs in em. There ARE 12 second dodge trucks, I can show videos if you want.

No thanks, I don't like that black smoke. :D
Very popular in any elevated place. Seems like nearly every pickup you see in colorado is a diesel.

diesels are getting recognised here for putting out some worthy performance numbers. Bully Dog technologies has been comming out with some very good aftermarket parts for diesels lately.
