How nice LOL.. do they know about videos you can download from the net? :D
BTW, 2 days offline are almost nothing.. gis is missing in action since June 24 and his phone company doesn't seem to keen in giving him back to us!

I've never had problems with Rogers yet (knocks on wood). And I do guess my Internet usage is also "a little" above average...

Well, they are really counting on ur Upstream Downstream ratio.....
so Rogers really don't care about how much u download as long as u don't upload much.

Thats why you should go with Sympatico!

I heard Sympatico got the same shitty service......................moreover, it's download speed is usually slower than rogers. <Sigh> I wish there's other afforadable options!

lol you can get telus.
My ISP doesn't give a rats ass what I download or upload. They say I have 6gbs of upload and download and its the begining of the month and I've uploaded and downloaded 2gbs already. I'm glad they dont' care because its 20 bucks for every gig I go over lo.

lol same. I thought it was fine before I got it, but they dont' care so its all good. Its kinda interesting that they don't care because I transfer enough for 20 users a month.

keke, they prolly want u to speard the words so ppl will start switching to Telus ...
and by then, they will start sending out letters.
I still remember a few years back when high speed internet is not that common...I used to send movies to ppl, open up f-servs in mirc and I recieve not a single word from rogers. But now....alot of my friends recieve that warning letter. My best guess is that Roger's bandwidth is hitting limits =P~

Fuck that, man. My Rogers doesn't have any download/upload limit. They've never complained about my usage, and I download about 50 gigs every month. I also upload probabily over 10 GB/month.

WTF? Did u send a case of red wine to the local office or something?
I think the most important thing is, which part of Ontario do u live?

lol I dont' use telus. It's DSL so basically it is telus because they use the same lines, but I have better customer support, like I needed it. Heh anyone here have the new cable extreme or what ever the hell its called? It's like 5mbs download and 2 or something for upload. Costs only 5 bucks more according to my friend.

I've had numerous problems with Rogers and their crappy service, sometimes it cuts out and i've had such a terrible time dealing with their customer service that i've learned to fix my own internet when something goes wrong.
But once I move, i'm upgrading to Satellite :)

I live in Southern Ontario..pretty close to Toronto. And I've never EVER had a single problem with Rogers Cable. I've had them as my ISP for over two years.
