The only thing is that the car built like a year ago not in 1969 everything on it is new but yes it is a Badass machine they call them G machines.

The base car is from 1969.
Maby the only thing it needs is electronic fuel injection.

Nice, but im not feeling the spoiler, seems to be a functional one for racing though.

yeah maybe 30% if even of the car is actually from the original car it has a new frame and suspension, modern block and internals all new top end the car is an amazing machine but barely original that's what I'm saying, the actual car as it is now isn't from 1969.

Your right one time his life it was a 69 camaro z28 is not stock anymore is much better than a stock 69 z28.
It's supercar killer!!.
Has some one more pics or videoclips of this car??

im not really feelin the spoiler... but it kinda reminds me of a superbird/daytona wing. Im sure its very functional. The wheels I am kinda sketchy on. They are decent, but remind me of NASCAR, and I dont really like the NASCAR style. Im sure those tires grip like hell tho.

I wonder how fast it really is.
And how much downforce that rear wing delivers??
:!:

i'm not a fan of this type of car, and the spoiler is too much for me.
Bit it must be a good car.

The z28 needs a real spoiler like that but i think it needs EFI with a standalone engine magement systhem.
How hightech are carburators these days??
 :?:

Carbs are better than you think and there is a lot you have to do to go to Fuel Injection, New intake manifold, Electric Fuel Pump, New Fuel lines, Computer, switch to Throttle Bodies, possibly new intake setup, Oxygen Sensors. or you can go cheap ( I doubt it with this car ) they have Throttle bodies with fuel injectors on top of them to replace the Carb which suck more than a Big boy Carb like this car already has. Trust me Carbs are more than enough nowadays.

Carb emissions are terrible... But when u build a muscle car, who the hell cares how many MPG ur getting!?!

I have to laugh, not at the car but when I visit Mustang forums and these guys are maybe getting 400-500 horespower and they want to stuff the fattest plug wires on their car, this guy is putting out almost 700 and he uses the exact same wires that are on my car.

Nice... iron box.. :) That spoiler is fugly but with a front engine 700hp and RWD, i'd be scared to be at 60mph without it :| Hell, i think i'd be scared in it at 20mph anyway  Why did he cushion the outside of the race buckets (seats) :?:

^^first: TWO = 2 (as in the number 2 (#2))
second: (as in 2nd but not 2(#2))bmws are not toyotas and are not doo-doo (or the other #2) you uncle bens poo(again the other#2)-cavity that for once got taste (how?) for a car that is absolutly awsome but i doubt the owner uses it as a daily driver and when engines are so tweaked out they don't tend to last much. Streetraces are stoopidiot :fadein:

It doesn't have to pass emissions since it's old enough that's why Classic Muscle cars can throw whatever the fuck they want on their engine and the government can't complain if there is more emissions out the ass end of your car than the Space shuttle. But it would definitely fail emissions alot of V8's cut it really close after about 5 years.

I'm sure that engine is bullit proofed it will probably last awhile.

looks pretty damn fast to me.. remember that mustang is heavily modified

According to some websites(IVe never been to california), a stock zo6 with a pro driver got 2:00 flat. A 1:58 was pulled by a porsche gt2. That mustang ran a 2:05 for that lap and we all watched the z28 slowly pull away.

It looks like the king of the track it only needs electronic fuel injection.
And it's much faster then the camera car the cobra.

I love this car. Id take the spoiler off and it would be perfect. I can just imagine cruising down Toronto streets blowing the doors off fucking ginos in their rice mobiles.

^^ faster in the straights, not the corners... i'm still amazed it could corner like it did. The driver kept it on the edge nicely but it did wobble half way through the turns, thats bad for the tyres and needed grip to accelerate out of the curbs. Aniway, I guess with all the hp he didnt need that much grip. Must be 1 hell of an adrenaline rush not to have that much control over that beast.

Why do you think it needs fuel injection so badly?
Most cars like that on the road still have Carbs under the hood some have 2 or 3 carbs under the hood and they make more power than if they converted the engine to fuel injection the only way the would get close was to have direct port which I stated earlier is not an easy thing to do. The only reason you would go to fuel injection is for possibly Turbo charging or to say that you have fuel injection that's it. And with the size carb he has on the car it's plenty big enough.

While it is true that fuel injection has several advantages over a carburated engine, these only come into play in clearly defined situations.
Theres also different types of fuel injection. Port, throttle body, and direct(the newest).
Usually the efi engine is easier to tune, but the carburated engine ends up faster for cheaper.

pagani
07-05-2004, 02:51 PM
And cars with efi are cleaner then a car with carbs.

but that doesn't matter for a car that doesn't have to pass emissions tests does it?
To stay true to the car it should be carbureted

Very few race cars would pass emissions. Even less would pass noise restrictions.

T-Bird

I know that I've been telling him it doesn't have to pass emissions and it's somewhat obvious a race car couldn't pass emissions especially since they don't have Cat's on them. This isn't purely a race car though it is probably a road car aswell.
