It's difficult, but for 1 million ? I could buy a lot of other cars, like F40 and others. the McLaren is too difficult to drive if you're not a pilot,so if I can't enjoy driving a car,why take it?

Mclaren is one of the best car in the world.. But for 1 million I can have 6-7 high performance sports car.. Driving a different car for all week days is always better than the drivin one.. Of course u can never drive it all the time..
Monday Impreza.. Tuesday Evo8...................Saturday Skyline.. Sunday 360..

i chose having a couple of cars...i'm not a racer so getting best lap times doesn't concern me. i want cars to show off, i wanna see heads turning my way, i wanna see doctors getting patients complaining neck stiffness from seeing my cars, i want girls hopping in to my car for a ride home, i wanna screw my fiance along sydney harbour in every hypo car(need some contorsionist skills there), i want my friends to envy me. there are more wants but i can't think of anymore

As user friendly as the mclaren F1 is, don't think I would be scared to drive it around town. Some little kid will probably key it :(

For a million, you can get many nice cars for different occasions.

S4 and MINI for daily driver
ferrari 360 and 911t for the weekend
aston v8 (the new one) for the special nights :)
lotus elise and noble m12 gto for the track

The remaining fund for the repair bills and insurance :D

Now, suppose I already had a F355, Diablo, Tuscan, M3, GT2, CLK AMG convertible and a Range Rover parked in my garage, then I would chose the McLaren over a bunch of other cars. 8)
