Taxi is cool (the three movies) just because it is a French production, packed with good humor and funny situation... IMO an hollywood remake is simply a dumb idea.

I've just finished watching it, and IMO its not that bad, but you can't compare it with thr original TAXI.

@TT, I have to disagree, the first one was the best, the second one not that bad, the third not even good.


But I've never thought red would fit the 7 so good :shock:

Queen Latifah is a crap actor and the cdar isn't much cop either.

Seems like a complete rip-off movie, too cloesly based on the plot of the [great] original :(

I really hope it is 1,000,000 times better than the trailer suggests, but it looks as if it is going to tarnish the good reputation of the original movies :roll:

Must agree with the main feeling here. Taxi 1 and 2 were great, 3 was bad and this trailer is the worst piece of crap I saw since that movie with the dinosaur.

Perhaps you might think it's ok if you haven't seen the original, but they got it all wrong. The French one was about humour, this is about action. This American remake's idea of humour is a nigga saying 'Damn'. :roll:

There is no need for the use of the word "nigga/nigger" in a public environment. :roll:

Some black people may accept the use of this word, however, this is not the rule. Many may still see the word as offensive due to it's use in the past. It is not fair to assume that because you are comfortable with the word, that others will be too. It is also worht mentioning that some white people will find offense in the use of this word too.

I feel that it would be best to stop using the term "nigger" in any future posts, to keep the peace and maintain politeness in the JW community. :D

I'd choose my friends better Speedkillah, their prompt reaction with violence reflects the poor ability to think and how much many are assimilated in the shallowness of society. I do curse and all not to keep frustration on the inside. Politicaly correct is another frontier to true freedom where education is it's only keys. Capitalism enslaves us all. No matter how rich you are. Anyway, i just saw the trailer and it wasnt that bad. Bad were the cars, the actors, the filming techniques... maybe some jokes are good. So for the 3 laughs and the 5 minutes it won't suck, it won't be all bad.... maybe.. :?

About the topic - lets see the movie, maybe its gonna be real good. Too bad its just a remake, hollywood have enough heads to make up they're own movie story. But I still hope this one will be interesting in its own way.

SPEEDKILLAR, being Belgian you should know that words like f**k and sh*t don't upset us because we don't realise the true meaning when we use them. Well, to me the word nigga doesn't upset me either. On the other hand, I can understand that English people do get upset by these words because to them it has a particular meaning.
