If you don't mind me asking, what is a Silvia exactly? There is a person with Silvia in his/her nickname and I automatically assumed it was a girl. :)

It's probably a car sold in the US... :? Right?

silvia is a name of a car from nissan. the most current car being the s15 silvia. japan calls them silvia. australia calls them 200sx and no i don't believe america has them because there's no V8 option. they have had the 240sx but wasn't turbocharged.

they are really nice cars...the japs use them for daily drifting

search on the web for them.
keywords: nissan silvia
extra keywords: s15, s14, s13

are you serious?!
they are very popular here...whether its a drag or show car we've got em.

there are some 500-600hp examples. not bad coming from a 2litre single turbo.

i had a dream about doing mine up but i think i have to sell it soon :(

Same here in The Netherlands. It's called 200SX here as well and you hardly see them. And when I do see them, they're completely stock. If I am right they only sold one version down here and they've stopped selling them for some time now. Probably because of the styling of the car. It didn't seem to appeal to many people. A shame though, because I remember the press was unanimously impressed with it.

i think its not sold anymore because its off the production line. the engine couldn't meet the new emission rules. thats why you see nautraly aspirated engines coming from nissan. even if a new gtr arrives, it will be NA.

but iwas gutted when i heard the bad news, the engine is a gem.

just got some info from a stranger on the net.
the engine is CA18DET with about 180-90 hp. the car weighs less than 1200kg. wouldn't really worry about 400m times coz it would be slow but goes around a track really well from what i've been told.

ablative: are you sure thats the hks drift car? i'm very sure it has a wide body kit
