No, it's all over the world. And most of it is utter bullshit. Yes, you can make money, but being able to retire at age 35 is a long shot. It can certainly be done, but don't count on it.
The onyl ones making serious money are the founders. Most of it comes from their "Meetings" and whatnot where they convince you to buy all sorts of tapes and other crap.

Didn't know what you were talking about till I looked it up here:

Sounds like a pyramid scheme to me. Stay as far away as possible.

Damn straight!

Its very popular in Australia also. Your friend is very ambitious to be able to retire by the age 35, as from my understanding, these multi-level marketing businesses (aka. pyramid 'businesses' - cashflow is drawn by the top bodies) do actually present decent means of passive cashflow. However, some 3% or so (from the top of my head), really do succeed in this form of business - succeed meaning retire as your friend intends to do so.

It's a great expereience to be part of a network, but surely, i wouldnt be my life on it ;)

Hm... anybody did any and had some success? I did and I have, not TOO big yet but it kind of passive income.
It depends, there are THOUSANDS and THUSANDS mlm companys around the world and just FEW are really working with good products and good system, if you wanna know is it good or bad, go on theyr functions, take calculator and stay sceptical(not too emotional), just use your head and common sence.

If the plan DOES make sence, if it is not about "magic stuff healing everything in the world including stupidity" products or "you give 1000 bucks, I take 500 and send it up, you find same dick heads and take 1000 from them, 500 are your and the rest send up" or if there are no limits what you have to buy, if it is NOT something like that, then try it and you'll see it for yourself.

Don't get me wrong, there are some really really good network marketing businesses with great systems. Robert kiyosaki believes its the wave of future 'businesses'.

But as ARMAN said, be warey of the dodgy ones. Be really aware :?

Btw ARMAN, what's the name of the business your part of?

Robert Kyiosaki is a guy who is REALLY rich, I mean REALLY (around 800mil. bucks in investments(not money - investments)) I think he really know what he talks about  btw... how many ENZO's is that?
The easyest book and I suggest this one is "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" its written as a story, and it is a real story of his life btw.

I use philosophy - if I wanna have success in something, and I wanna get it right way(no stilling and stuff) I should listen to someone how have it already. Wanna be good in swimming - go to learn from the best sweamer I can get, wanna have good relashionship with GF - go learn who have really great relationship with his wife for many years and so on and so on. So if Kyisaki says go do this and that and you get this and that, I do it. No questions. Jabba dont say us what to do, so I listen to Kyiosaki 8) Wa acctually had him speaking here in Czech.. actually in Poland on the function.

I work with first and oldest('59) - Amway, Setzer international - Yagers line of sponsorship.

As ngudan said be aware what you gettin in, use your head instead of emotions.

Who told you that stuff? Thats interesting how people make up some things when they dont have facts
I have a video where he sais that IT IS a true story and I know few guys who know him personally, so...

What would you do if you have so much money that you dont EVER have to work for the rest of our life? EVER! Sleeping all day? Buying cars all day? Playing golf all day? How long will you do it? Month? 5 months? a year? He have all he wants and he decided that he would teach people to do the same, to become financially independent. It is something bad?

Maybe this MLM work is just not for you.
Somebody have a job as a mission in theyr life. But do you? You wanna go to work and make money for your boss so he can buy himself a new car and to take a great vacation? Or you wanna have that car and other things?

It becomes a great discussion, if you have questions, ask your friend or go to the function with him, or just dont do anything. Make a decision.
