My dad has the press pack of the Pininfarina Ferrari Rossa concept car. I took these pictures from the added cd-rom. They were huge and in .tif format, which resulted in 21 pictures with a total volume of 275 Mb!! So I resized and converted them to JPEG. In original size they were still too large to upload anywhere. If anyone would like one of the pictures in original size, PM me and we can work something out.

Enjoy the pics! Click for bigger size...

A bit too fancy :( If it weren't for the badge and the back lights, I would have never guessed it was a Ferrari.

It's from 2000. You can see some similarities with the Enzo. I think the designer is also one and the same. The car uses the 550 Maranello as its basis.

I would have thought the Rossa was well known, but it seems not... It needs some getting used to though, like all current Ferraris. I love it now.

The design is too radical for this day in age. Maybe in a few decades

Hehe, I like them, yes. I thought more people here would, so that's why I posted them. Apparently only Cuansf likes them so far. I think people should take a closer look at this car and not base their opinion on the result of a quick glance. That doesn't work with this car.

It's very good. It shows where Ferrari plans to take their designs. I'll bet you anything that the side vents near the frond wheels will be the first to come around. Then the rear, then the front.

The car uses the 550 Maranello as its basis.

Actually if I recall this design concept was what ultimately lead to the 550 bacharetta. I like it. It reminds me alot of early open top race cars.
That being said it certainly wouldnt be a practical car, not that Ferraris ever are.

Does it fly? ;)

I'm still soaking up the 21st century styling of the motorcar. This doesn't do it for me.

Those sketches are amazing.. if only they were bigger - sharing is caring!

This car does not look good for one reason and one reason only. The Rossa was designed by Ken Okuyama, who also brought us the Enzo and 612 Scaglietti. And according to the almighty and exhalted motoring lord-god Jeremy Clarkson, anyone named Ken is not cool. Thus the cars designed by this...Ken are also uncool.

By the way, Ken Okuyama is back at Pininfarina after some years of hiatus.

I rather like it. It's cool as a concept car.
I may just put these on a disc and have a friend make me a print or two to hang on the wall.
