Heh, guess what I'm training to work on lol. Actually, I probably won't work on engines that big, but I'll most likely work on diesels that are still pretty damn big. The torque number on that thing is fuckin rediculous lol. A diesel isn't the best way of going about making that much power, at least for a ship. For power under 40,000 SHP (Shaft horsepower) its more efficient to go with a diesel. But above that, it's better space wise to go with a steam turbine setup. Heh, you fools bitch about rotory motors not having many moving parts, I steam turbine setup only has about 4 :D

Hahaha.. 4 parts only? What are they?

The turbine, condensate pump, condenser deaerating pump, the feed booster pump and the main feed pump. Ok, so maybe 5, but still, that's not a whole lot.

Shite, I forgot how to figure out the power to weight ration, shite, am I stupid or what. Fucking nutters, this is huge. Can you realize how much fuel this thing needs. Thats 0.0000000000000000000000000001MPG
