Hey guys I havent seen every episode of Top Gear, but what happened to Stig 1 ?
Well he went for a mission in an aircraft carrier and he died ... so they got another one , of course it was all part of a story for the viewers , very funny BTW , and the new Stig seems to be much faster than the older one

Sorry but does anybody have seen how this guy looks?
I'm very curious, why do they hide him?

Here is a short clip of him dying. The video link is at the bottom right of the page and is appropriately named, "The STIG Dies". The other clips are good too.

The old Stig's name was Perry McCarty or something... So he wasn't a girl

screw the new stig, i think tiff should drive for them. i love how he hauls ass and politely chats as if sitting on a park bench.

but it's not the fastest way to drive.
Tiff clearly knows how to do both types of driving. Honestly, what he does on tv is the best way to be flashy for tv.. Driving around on smooth racing lines by yourself would get old fast for the audience. He clearly can drive the racing line judging by his placing in lemans and other races.

Maybe the old Stig was defective so the Stig factory had him recalled and replaced with the new one. That's why he seems to be faster

I thought "the stig" was Stig Bloomquist the Swedish rally driver.
I wanna see Tiff Vs Clarkson Head to head around Leguna Seca, or maybe the Ring.

The Stig would blow him away. Clarkson isn't the greatest driver and he admits it.
The Stig and Tiff, on the other hand... :o

I think that JC is a great driver, maybe not like Tiff, but still, look at the TG episode where he drives the GT3RS, and he manage to follow the ferrari driver...
He's better than the average driver at least...

yeah, but turn that race the other way around...
if you follow someone in an identical car, you know that the car can always do what the car in front of you is doing...its just up to you to do it. in other words, its easier to follow than lead, in anything.
clarkston is too big of a guy to big a great driver, they shove him in these exotics, im not surprised that hes not as good. cram you size 10 foot in a size 7 shoe and try to run fast, it aint gonna happen.

So, if Shumi is in 1st, then Barrichello would always follow him? You need to be a good driver to keep up with the car in front of you if the driver is a very good driver, Luca Badoer... Come on!
Okay, I know JC is not the best driver in the world, but he's good.

Come on see the video with the lotus elise, he couldn't drive it sideways. The lotus driver made him look rediculous. Don't forget that tiff has a racing background and jeremy doesn't. I have a biography of tiff's if anyone is intrested try this. http://www20.brinkster.com/nmaggioros/tiff%20needell.doc
And you can see what i mean. But the stig is good too.
