What I have: Hamann body kit, Seabring Exhaust w/ deleted resonator, H&R Springs, 19" Powder Coated Black Hartge Classics, Tint all around, & Black Grill.....

Whats Next: Xenon Angel Eyes, M5 Mirros, LED Tail Lights, Intake, Body Moldings & Chrome Painted black.

The car looks awesome , but i dont like tinted windows and black rims , a nice set of anthracite wheels would suit the car better

Very nice car :D I love the E39 :D and yes, it would be nice if you could take the time for the official custom shot ;) (the owner manual either on the boot or the bonnet) :D

What rims are those? I love the chrome lip. They go with any black car. True sleeper

The wheels are 19" Powder Coated Black Hartge Classics as you can read above ;)

not a bad car dude, something needs to be done about those old front and rear lights though, the updated model of these should fit nicely, are they the ones your getting for it? or some aftermarket ones?

I've posted pics of this car before when it was stock....along with my family of cars but if that is what it takes then i'll take another pic to prove it is mine.

and yes i will be getting the new LED tail lights and updating the car to the newstyle.

:D As far as performance mods, the car is fast enough. I can smoke WRX's, beat GT's, and pull on almost every 3 series. To fix up this car engine wise is almost stupid because of the price it cost for everything for this car. If i were going to do engine work it would all be Dinan stuff which everyone knows is $$$, so in the long run it just isnt worth it. This is my inbetween car till i can afford a used 03 E55. reason i got a e39 was because the new 5 series came out and put a big hit on the e39 models. I got me a cheap (relatively speaking) 4 door sleeper.

Have you ever seen a BMW 540 with the M package on it? Comes straight from the dealership that way....... I agree with what you are saying (for the most part) but I think there is a difference between Rice and Style. and its not like i have a 525 or 530.....shit, its a 540 bud.

My older brother had a 540i and damn it was pretty fast.. all it had was a remus exhaust system.. Nice car I really miss it a lot. :cry: .

I can't agree with you at this... I have taken a pic of my dad's 523I, 99'. It have a M5 bumper, mirrors, wheels and sidelists (not sure that's the right word but can't remember the real one....) Plus it got the newer lights with white indicators. And it looks stunnning....

Not at all.... what matters to me is that it looks good :D Just because it isn't the biggest engine it should still look good. And i haven't seen any other kit or something like that, which look as good as the M5 look. And in Denmark a 523 still cost about 40.000 EUR, so there really any chance of going all the way and buying the real thing (~100.000 EUR)

btw the 523 has a 2.5 litre engine (170 hp)

All you done performance-wise is the exhaust. Should be running neck and neck with WRX I think

All you done performance-wise is the exhaust. Should be running neck and neck with WRX I think

HAHAHA I raced a 01 WRX with exhaust, intake, short shifter, and chip. And i pulled on the guy after 3rd. We did it from a 20mph go down PCH. 540i will supprise you, buddy of mine also has a 02 GT mustang with exhaust, headers, intake, chip, short shifter, and tb and we are dead even.
oh and my car is auto, wish it was 6spd.

You are right about that. Dad wanted to see an E with a lorinser body kit. But the only E i will ever get is gonna be a E55 03+ (supercharged ones). But he now loves the 540 after the Hamann body kit.
