yes they do go that fast.......had my engine re-done recently so it is perhaps producing a bit more than power than the stock 235hp. also have k & n air filter and racing chip

Those little computer programmer things can remove the limiter. They are expensive though.

in my A4 i went 127mph (i forgot where the limiter was 130 or 135, so i stopped accelerating early as to avoid hittin it)

in my Nova the speedo only goes to 120 and ive had that pegged a few times but i dont think it was much faster then 130. that car is VERY scary at those speeds!

Fastest I drove was 130 mph in the Volvo S40 2.0 my dad had. I have driven faster cars for work (as private chauffeur), but I can't run the risk of getting caught speeding (damnit!) since the clients will be very unhappy about that.

Don't take this as an insult, but you've got a corvette and you've only taken it to 122mph? A car with 1/4th of the power of a vette can hit 122. I wouldn't take it to it's top speed, but I would probably go to the German Autobahn and try to take it to 250km/h.

200 kmh/125 mph on a deserted airfield with 3 passengers. The car would have gone faster, but the airfield was rather bumpy so I didn't push... I'll try to find a better place next time, my car's top speed should be 230 km/h.

Damn, I'm a slow ass mother fucker. 105 and the limiter kicks in. Then again, I only have an 85 HP car. 112 in the caddy when the limiter kicks and, and she would still go strong. A friend of mine who has a Caddy was cruising 145 with a vette in detroit hehe. Those cars at those speeds = scary

Flat out in a 1990 Toyota Corolla @ 90-95MPH(I forgot, it was a some years ago). Very scary and unstable, the whole car was shaking. 163MPH in my friends tuned 94 Supra Turbo.
